First Edition. Owner name crossed out on pastedown. No Dust Jacket. Edge & shelf wear. Slight wear to top and bottom of spine. Plastic protective cover to board. A hint of scraping to back pastedown. Foxing to end pages and paste down. Pages are clean and binding is tight. Solid Book.
This was a good story in itself - It just had a few derogatory comments about women, which I decided to ignore due to the fact this was written in 1965. However, the author also thought that witches were evil - misguided soul that she is!
Starts out promising, but drags on. There are some fun spooky parts, but the villain is so obvious and the main character does not see it! Also, not enough witches.
I liked this book - it is an older view of things...copyright is in 60's. However with the more seemingly simpler writting I found myself scared by what I myself was creating...which is something a writter should work at...making the reader truly get into the story enough to create what happens next
