For a book with so few words, this is surprisingly charming! it even got a little "Awww!" out of me at the end. About sharing and working together, with adorable pictures of the animals (That penguin! SO CUTE!!!), this is a great Valentine's Day to share with the littles in your life. Highly recommended.

The illustrations were truly wonderful in this little book - they were so soft and cozy feeling...really well done. The written-content was okay. The alliteration was great to see in an early reader book, but it just felt lacking and unfulfilling, with no lesson really being taught (which is one of my personal biases).

More of a picture book than a story book, with two or three words per page. BUT as I read this my 4 year old granddaughter repeated and looked at the text. At the end I told her "very good job" and her smile was as big as she was proud of herself for 'reading'. Nice Valentine's story with creative animals.
