Whilst it’s a succinct and useful pocket guide, as you’d expect from a pocket guide, it’s very “box categorisation” based, without much outside the box thinking. Conflict is seen as a negative and a failure of leadership/something that should be avoided - which it isn’t. And there is nothing about compassion, though it does talk about active listening and not taking something personally. So all in all: useful, quick, with useful mnemonics and strategies, but very limited, I’d advise reading other books too on this topic
A simple yet informative read. Mostly common sense however sometimes not that simple when dealing with difficulties. Great read for any leaders/managers
