This leveled reader has an overflowing check-out sheet still glued into it, and is still being circulated despite being in poor condition. It's funny! And the horse, oh so patient & compassionate, look at those pictures.

True, Baker is (apparently) not Native, but the note gives sufficient information re' respect. And remember that there are tales of fools in every culture. Isaac Bashevis Singer, a Jew, famously wrote about a village of Jewish fools, for one notable example, and he was a Nobel prize winner.
