Dr. Kim's book chronicles his meeting with the late Harry Holt in 1956, and their subsequent work together to find loving adoptive families for the homeless children in war-torn Korea.
This is a wonderful primary source about Dr. David Hyungbok Kim who grew up during Japanese occupation of Korea and the Korean War. He was chosen by Harry Holt to eventually lead Holt International Children's Services. David had a heart for orphans, and it was neat to read his account and testimony of how God led him in his life. This is also a detailed account of how the Holt adoption agency came to be and international adoptions.
