I can just play the drums. I'm pretty good--but I'm still shocked at the opportunity my band has.
I'm finally setting out on an incredible journey with my bandmates in Johnny Baskets. Little do I know that this is about to be the start of something unforgettable - two attractive and powerful men soon enter my Javi, a famous rock star and the man we're headlining for, and Dom, a mysterious warlock for hire who is supposed to keep Trine safe.
As we tour, I begin to notice strange occurrences surrounding our bassist Trine. It's not long before I realize that there is an unearthly power at work and it also seems to want me, even though I don't believe in anything supernatural.
With help from Javi and Dom, I face my fears head-on and prepare to confront this dark force. But as danger looms, something even more unexpected happens - an irresistible connection forms between the three of us. We will do whatever it takes to protect each other... no matter the cost.
🔥 “I’m going to worship every part of you.” ~~~ Alana is great! She’s quite skeptical when it comes to the supernatural world, even after everything that happened to Trine. But she’s one feisty and brave woman, a supportive and loyal friend and a very talented drummer. And I really liked that she was not hesitant to speak her mind and knows how to enjoy the moment. I liked her so much!
And then we have the two amazing males! Javi - the smoking-hot, recently divorced, down-to-earth and caring South American rockstar, and Dom - the confident, mysterious, brave and fiercely protective warlock who is hired by Misha to protect Trine while the band is on tour. I loved them both! They were so different and yet absolutely charming and irresistible. And I couldn’t get enough of them!
I loved everything that happened between Alana, Dom and Javi! From the moment they met, their attraction was undeniable, but their relationship was forbidden. Nevertheless, their chemistry was fantastic right from the start and I really liked how well those three fit together. And there might be more to Al and Javi than anyone expects. Even more, when the three couldn’t keep their hands off each other, the passionate moments they shared were so hot!
In addition, the storyline was fantastic! Johnny Baskets - Alana’s band - is on its first South American tour and I was excited to see how it will go. Even more, I loved the eerie places we got to visit with the band. But there might be something lurking in the shadows, waiting to pounce.
Overall, the story is another great addition to the series! It’s filled with suspense, danger, twists, passion and wonderful characters.
I loved it and, with that ending, I can't wait to see what happens next!
Marked by Shadows is the 4th book in the Five Points Series. This is the first book in the series that I have read, and I did not feel like I was missing out on much of the story starting with book 4. The story was entertaining, though it felt a little slow and stretched out at times and ended on a cliffhanger that left me at a loss and mad, not necessarily wanting to read the next book. I enjoyed the connection Alana, Dom and Javi had from the very beginning. Their connection and the mild amount of spice kept me reading until the end, hoping to get more details to their relationships with each other. Those details never did happen.

Alana Is the drummer for the Johnny Buckets (the same band that Trine from ‘Sinful Urges’) and they are on tour in South America. The meet up with Dom, a local warlock, and Javi, who is the head liner for their tour. Sparks fly between Alana, Dom and Javi, but eery footsteps and shadow demons threaten them all. This story was the perfect blend of horror and romance - the scary parts were spooky and the romantic parts were spicy! The cliffhanger leaves you feeling creepy and curious for what happens next!
this was a great entry in the Five Points series, it works well as a standalone and with the other three books. I enjoyed every part of the journey and it worked overall. The characters were strongly written and I enjoyed the way they were written.
