This book is essential! An excellent introduction to the shape of the church of the future. Not everything he says is up to date of course, and some of his assumptions/predictions are, in my view, unlikely and occasionally unhelpful. However I truly cannot see a reason to not recommend this book to anyone who cares about the future of our world and the role of the church therein.

the most i learned new were the stats jenkins used to prove his points. nothing about the book was shocking to me (s/o dr carlos cardoza) but jenkins lays it out nicely. his argument of christianity moving to the global south/global east is compelling. it’s a good/interesting read, but not necessarily a thrilling one

Yet another book for seminary. I really liked this book. I’d be curious to read a more updated version but this casted a beautiful vision for the global church!
