This book is a great way to reinforce counting, sequencing and predicting in your classroom. This book can help children practice how to read with expression. This book is about a duck and her eight reasons why she wouldn't swin in the riverbank. Her reasons was that she was keeping her eight eggs warm.

Coming from a large family and raising a larger-than-most family of my own, this story gave me warm chills. It's sweet, and a good sequencing concept book besides.
