There are many similar books to this excellent anthology. This collection includes more carols than most Christmas poetry books but also manages to incorporate classic and brand new poems as well. There are about 100 items and poets and carol writers include as disparate a group as Mike Harding, Alison Uttley, William Blake, Leonard Clark, TS Eliot and Wes Magee.

September 7, 2024DNF. A read about 1/2 the book, there were about 3 poems I liked out of that. Words to songs such as the 12 days of Christmas were included.
