I needed to read this book as part of a college curriculum, so approached it with some dread, and an expectation of boredom. Surprisingly, I found it quite absorbing. As always, beautiful writing just naturally captures one's attention - and I actually enjoyed the story of Christian's character development in an allegorical world.
