After three murders that shock the little midwest town of Fairfield, David Brett, the husband of one of the victims, undertakes a search for the killer and uncovers a horrible pattern
Not Bad for a 1st book. Gave away a lot of what I call secrets, where an established author might have used what I call clues. Will see what else she has in my library system
The book begins suddenly when Elizabeth Brett gets in her car, and triggers a bomb when she starts the car. We then follow her husband, David Brett, through the remainder of the book as he tries to find (and bring to justice) the person responsible for an ever lengthening trail of death.
What I liked:
Wolf did a good job of keeping the suspense/action paced, and the reader guessing for the majority of the book.
What I didn't like:
The writing felt a bit amateurish, and the plot (while good), was borderline unbelievable.
Recommended for people who like suspense/thriller books, and are looking for a quick read.
