My thoughts: I absolutely love a non-fiction text, and in my job role, unfortunately I come across a lot of stalking cases and I really feel that this book helped deepen my understanding of the behaviours of perpetrators and the impact on victims of stalking.

The intensity of stalking, the real-life figures and facts around stalking are absolutely devastating and shocking.

There was so many interesting parts of this book, my only recognised flaw was that at parts it felt slightly repetitive.

Fantastic book, should be a textbook.

Wonderfully organized, beautifully worded. Helped me reassess a relationship for my own safety. Keep as a reference book if you run a shelter. I guarantee ex-significant others are very good at stalking. I am older and didn't realize how easily digital items could be followed. Thanks.

This book does a good job constructing an overview of stalking, by using a lot of statistics, and reviewing different forms of stalking. There are a few examples of cases that involve the dangers of being harassed and how escalation can happen; however, there are some repetitive elements

It is a quick and easy read and good as a reference, to perhaps discern a nagging feeling one may have about possibly being stalked, or different types of invasion of personal privacy. Any one of,or each of these, chapters could be explored more deeply. Again, this is a good overview and a great opportunity to see which area or category one would like to investigate more of.

not well organized or evidence-based

I really wanted to like this book. But both as a person and a mental health therapist, I found it to be disorganized and lacking scientific rigor. I wonder if the author used ChatGPT to write this and just quilted it together without much logic.
