Gracie’s uncle has started making pottery and has made several angels. They are later found smashed. A woman’s bracelet goes missing and the town is in an uproar. Gracie is worried about a boy who appears to shovel her walk, he seems to have no home life or anyone to take care of him. After a car wreak in a snow storm part of his problem is discovered and Gracie decides to figure out something.

Uncle Milties angel's are all smashed to pieces but an accident during a blizzard leads the group to an old farmhouse where they find a family living and a possible answer as to who broke all the angels and why.
