RAIN FORESTS: GARDENS OF GREEN Having only recently become aware of the books by Laura Purdie Salas, I am slowly discovering her genius in imparting nonfiction subjects in such a beautiful, concise, clear way compelling enough, not just for children, but for adults.
I can't say enough about the perfect execution of these books and the pairing with the illustrations. After reading this book (and others), I feel like I have a very good understanding of the makings of a rain forest. I also love the additional information at the back of these books, too, which include instructions for a diorama! How wonderful! :)
