A brave young woman Two handsome men And another harvest on the Weaver Farm!
Phoebe Weaver came to the Weaver farm Phoebe Manning when she was twelve. She was mute, scared, and broken after almost losing her life in the fire that took her parents. Now, six years later all that she thought she lost, she had back. A loving family, a wonderful life on the Weaver farm, and now that she just turned eighteen, she could think about marriage. And wouldn't you know, there was now a boy next door. Ambrose Fletcher, whom her parents thought was the right choice for her. But her heart had other ideas.
Taylor Wyndham had been Phoebe Weavers distant neighbor ever since she and her sister Selena came to the Weaver farm. He'd always had a soft spot for Phoebe, and they had become good friends. But when he left suddenly without so much as a goodbye, and came back a year later, how much of that friendship remained? He'd changed in the time he was away, and so had Phoebe. She was a young woman now. Could he fight the growing attraction he had for her, or do the right thing and let the new neighbor seek more than friendship with her? After all, Taylor didn't plan on sticking around and everyone on the farm knew it.
Find out in this sweet historical western story of life, love and family on the Weaver farm!
I gave that heading and the rating because there was too much internal dialogue for my liking. I'm a real conversational reader, I like it much better when two or more people talk rather than all that thinking, it hurts my brain! I love the whole rest of this series with the exception of the sister that can't make up her mind even though deep down she knows who she belongs with. Bella and Calvin also forgot the deal they made not to interfere in their children's love lives!
Any story about the Weavers is one to read. From Harlan and Granny Mary to the many grandchildren each has his own personality and place on the farm. In this case Phones is all grown up. No longer a mute child, she is a full grown woman with family responsibilities and is of marrying age. This awesome well written story brings forth the tor here's lives of three young people and as Granny Mary so succinctly tells Phoebe, being in love has the power to shatter your heart or make you feel like you're on top of the world.
Boy Kit, you sure did it again with this wonderful story. It was so incredibly interesting that I read it in one setting. Phones and Taylor story was heartfelt and thrilling to read. It was like I was with them on their journey.
I really enjoyed Taylor and Phoebe's Story, they were a great couple, when they met, He took care of her when they first met and forever. Wonderful Book, Thanks Kit Morgan
The Weaver Romances continue with this beautiful story for Phoebe and one of her suitors. Taylor or Ambrose, she let's her heart pick in the end and it of course chooses wisely.
A classic tale involving the Weaver clan. She had made the Weavers her family and she loved the farm and everything it means but her heart was saying wherever he goes I will follow. A++ read.
Another sweet romance of young love. Phoebe and Taylor were so much in love but young enough to not really realize it. They both took the steps to adulthood while sorting apples! 🍎 With determination they will do well in life.
Thank you for this wonderful love story about Phoebe and Taylor. I loved the storyline and the many different characters. I had tears of joy at the ending.
While I LOVE the cover, this wasn’t one of my favorite books in the series. It was too introspection heavy for me, and I feel like the resolution was too obvious, and just kind of made me annoyed at Taylor’s indecisiveness & inability to figure it out on his own. I do always enjoy seeing other Weaver family members from past stories mentioned again though, and Alvin was adorable! So I’m glad I read the book, but Taylor & Phoebe’s love story itself wasn’t my favorite.
Taylor Wyndham longtime neighbors of the Weavers and in School in Ny for banking Phoebe Weaver- the adoptive daughter of Bella and Calvin's adoptive daughter who is now 18. This was a sweet enjoyable story that I wish had a little more to the ending about their future. I felt it kinda left you guessing what happens to them. Their story has a loving hea for now. Ama
