It was nice to read an easy read with religious ways to solve personal problems.

Finding true contentment isn’t always easy. For Cassidy Jamison, contentment means getting the job promised to her: vice president at Jamison Steel. When denied this by her grandfather, she escapes to a small backwoods town called Mountain View, PA. There she meets the usual cast of locals as well as Joshua Daniels, an unconventional preacher.

Some of the book is simply repeating tired old tropes about rich city girl meets country bumpkin lifestyle, but the characters are fairly likable. The plot twists occur when Joshua tries to remember who he really was, before he came to Mountain View. Telling any more would spoil the book, and it’s a worthwhile read.

Inspirtional Christian romance. Two classics from a favorite author -- including The Girl Next Door, which I had not been able to read before.
