I was drooling while reading this book and I definitely am craving chili now. The recipes in this book are ok, more along the lines of beginner recipes, which I've perfected my favorite chili recipe, so I didn't really need that. But the tips were cool and I got some good ideas from those. The book is worth checking out for cooks to get some good and yummy ideas, if nothing else.
I read this as an ebook; meaning I didn't get a chance to look through it to see the kinds of recipes might be in it, that I might like to try.
I'm a pretty good cook, and have even won the odd local contest or two, mostly for bragging rights. For the most part this cookbook was light on content, and light on creativity. Most, if not all of the styles I've read about before, or have tried, or have seen on TV.
For beginning cooks, this book will be good. For those who have been at it a while, you may not be impressed.
