I was a bit disappointed in this book. It is a series of cookbooks during the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. There are some good recipes, but the books in the series that I read feature basically the same recipes in a repetitive manner. Basically, if you have read one, you have read them all.

Loved the recipes!

I really enjoyed revisiting the recipes my own mother prepared as I was growing up. I was a bit disappointed as the "about the book" had mentioned there would be a brief history about the recipes and that was not included.

I have made a few of these on my own, not needing someone else’s recipes. Very easy recipes to make.
