Ava is a fictional love story built around the form and character of a woman who hitch-hiked a ride from me once. She was in my car five minutes, at the most. None of what happens in this story, really happened.This is not a sex novel. It begins "sexually" but really it is about falling instantly and unexpectedly in love and then dealing with the "baggage" your beloved carried on the the bus with her; on that cross country trip where you happened to meet.This woman I met, who hitched that ride, was simply remarkable and I can easily imagine her and I in a relationship like this. I knew her for five minutes.
