Two Worlds Collide

Ever since she was little, Tena Torpav of the planet Caxarivuem has been told she is destined to do great things, but she has always wondered about herself. When men from Earth crash near her home, she offers to take them into her care and teach them the ways of her people. But their presence starts a series of events that seem to fulfill ancient prophecies and put all that Tena holds dear in jeopardy. Can Tena find her own true destiny and save the day?

About the author

K.S. Wood (she/her) has been writing stories ever since she could print her name. Many of her first stories were written in crayon on scrap paper and had to be deciphered by her mother.

Born in North Carolina as the eldest child of a USMC officer, she spent her childhood moving from place to place. In college, she was a social science major but loved her creative writing classes as well.

K. S. Wood has been happily married since 2007 and lives in Iowa, where she is the proud "mom" to a handful of cats, a number of houseplants, and sometimes even a stepson.

By day, she works a job in customer service, but by night she spends time writing (Of course!) blogging, answering dumb questions on Twitter, getting into random arguments with strangers on Facebook, spending time in flights of fancy with the other half and enjoying stories written by others. Occasionally, she can also be found immersed in the pages of history, reading and writing true tales of various historical and genealogical figures.

She loves learning, cats, and all things magical, especially unicorns.
