Seventeen magazine's wildly popular column about the embarrassments and humiliations we all endure is now collected in one hilarious volume. One thing's for we can ALL relate... Each month, Seventeen magazine rounds up the most hysterical bloopers from real girls' lives in its "Traumarama" column--a consistent favorite of Seventeen readers. Now the editors of Seventeen have compiled the best stories into one hilarious book. From totally un-planned wardrobe malfunctions to saying the absolute wrong thing in front of the absolute right guy, these are tales everyone can relate to. And, as if the stories themselves weren't enough for a huge laugh-fest, fantastic full-color illustrations appear throughout to capture the complete embarrassment it all it's glory!
Traumarama will be in-stores in December 2005--in time to coincide with the big finale of the reality show--the search for America's "young sweetheart"--which will air through the Fall.
At some points I laughed out loud. At other points, the stories were uncomfortable familiar. There were at least two urban legends passed off as "true" stories. And there was one blatently plagiarized story. The yoga story was taken almost word for word from "Being Bindy" by Alysia Brugman.
It was a shame because the book was so funny - but I felt cheated and ripped off when I realized that some of the "true" stories were totally fake - and totally ripped off!
Every girl has their embarrassing moments and I think sometimes when I have been with a guy friend embarrassing events have happened to me and when I read these stories they make me laugh and remind me that I am not alone.
Every month Seventeen magazine hosts a section of its magazine named traumarama, where a person shares a moment where they feel like dying of embarrasment for a humiliating moment. Read this LOL book to see the real definition of embarrasment.
I always loved to read these in the magazine. They show that not everyone is perfect and if you want something to cheer you up, this will for sure do the trick.
