This is a collection of five stories of the mash-up/alternate variety. "Anne-droid of Green Gables," by Lezli Robyn was my favorite, though Tom Piccirilli's story about witchcraft and the mob, Thomas Tessier's tale of Senator Joe McCarthy and the killer frogs, and "Little Women in Black" by Rick Hautala were all excellent. The last story was about a Japanese cartoon or video game or somesuch and left me clueless, but the first four were surprisingly good.
