[Siren Everlasting Classic Erotic Alternative Paranormal Romance, M/M, vampires, sex toys, HEA] Vaughn lives a carefree life inside the coven and has been known to get kicked out of a place or two for his wild ways. When he spots a man standing in the middle of the club looking lost, Vaughn decides to help the man out, only to realize the innocent farm boy is his mate. Connor came to the city six months ago. Finding a job was impossible, and sleeping in shelters was his only option. When he visits The Manacle for a hot meal that Jersey had promised him, he stumbles into a world of dark pleasures and sinful delights. But when Connor discovers vampires truly exist, he freaks out, trying to stake Vaughn in his heart. Can Vaughn convince Connor that vampires aren't bloodthirsty savages, and can Vaughn save Connor from the real vampire hunters that are out there? ** A Siren Erotic Romance
Lynn Hagen loves writing about the somewhat flawed, but lovable. She also loves a hero who can see past all the rough edges to find the shining diamond of a beautiful heart.
You can find her on any given day curled up with her laptop and a cup of hot java, letting the next set of characters tell their story.
Very typical of Lynn Hagen books. Cute, little, quirky guy with a big, strong, "alpha" kind of guy. There were a few items that made me think the author didn't look into Domination and Submission at all. I was a bit disappointed with this one. I don't think Hagen's books are very well written but I usually enjoy them a little more than this one. They are like candy, sweet and bad for you;) Still this one just didn't strike the right notes. I was also disappointed to see what to me appeared an uninformed way to describe the D's scene.
This series is a little like, just change the names and the story remains nearly the same. They are quick and easy to read especially when you keep rolling paranormal for challenges. Centering on Vaughn and his mate, his 'little man'. Cute and the predictable HEA.
Well, I delved into the Bracverse a 2nd time and now there are 121 books - yikes! I loved this Universe the first time I read it several years ago and now I love it more, I really do, but I've only been able to read these series (and I have expanded to all the books that are currently out in each): Brac Pack Christian's Coven Zeus's Pack Demon Warriors The Exiled
These are the series that start the Universe. Reading them in order is a must. Each book has it's own love story but there is an underlying story that plays out throughout them all. As you get towards the end of these series, other series come into play and I noticed that, since I did not read them, I missed some of the characters being mentioned (good and bad) but I was still able to follow because the main ones stay the same.
One day I WILL buy these and read them all!!! (For the correct order, just look on the Internet for Lynn Hagen Reading Order): Brac Village Shadow Tribe BPNG (Brac Pack Next Generation - Brac Pack kids) The Remus Brothers Wolves of Desire
So Christian hadn't wanted to ingest one vampire's blood for fear of getting poisoned by the the Liquid Wrath as he was before, yet he killed a shifter/dealer who was on that same drug by ripping out the man's jugular with his teeth? Where's the logic in that?
Shit is getting way too repetitive and I'm liking the series less and less. I would also like to point out how it's fascinating how people grow up to be 20 or 30 somethings and are going around freely their whole lives (mostly) without an incident but as soon as they meet their mates they can't take a piss without being attacked.
Honestly, this book was pretty good but the way the author did NOT know how to present accurately a black man as a character was such a downer. It shows that the author is a white person, like please stop with the "food-like" descriptions of POC. Other than that I think this was a pretty decent book.

Cute. I will admit that conner was likeable for sure but Vaughn was hit or miss. He wasn't a really cool guy. He was kinda weird actually. There were moments here and there when he would show conner love and affection but most of the time he acted like a goofy playboy. And why did conner have NO life of his own? Why does he go to work with Vaughn every single night? That's not exactly my idea of a good time. .. why wouldn't Vaughn suggest conner find a job at the club tending bar or something? Conner Had been looking for a job for 6 months as a now all of a sudden he is content leading his life sitting on a barstool watching his mate stand in a corner with his arms crossed!! The book also ended at an odd place. Right when I thought it was wrapping up it started a whole new story line. But the series did have some interesting additions in this book.
typical lynn hagen serial romance. nothing fantastic, nothing so bad it can't be finished. what is typical lynn hagen? imagine a shorter harlequin romance but with no t&a (see, i was going to write no surprise pregnancies, but... yeah.).
out of sheer laziness, i will be using this as my template for all books by : lynn hagen stormy glenn scarlett hyacinth carol lynne gabrielle evans
unless otherwise noted. i'd apologize, but i'm not sorry. i figure it's about as much time as they put into their books. dammit! well, i made it all the way to the end being rather moderate in my assessment. that's a win.
Nice guys and it was genuinely funny, while also displaying some excellent rage and drama.
I even like the setup for the next volume of this subseries. Of course I will have to wait for it to be published. :P And then there’s still the chance it will be a dud. But hey, why expect the worst?
Re-read 20/06/15 - Connor was quite TSTL at times but I did like him and Vaughn together. I almost like the background story more than the foreground one though.
