Moonwalk: A Memoir

Rate this book
In this #1 New York Times bestseller, Michael Jackson tells the story of his life, in his words. In this intimate and often moving personal account of Michael Jackson’s public and private life, he recalls a childhood that was both harsh and joyful but always formidable. Michael and his brothers played amateur music shows and seamy Chicago strip joints until Motown’s corporate image makers turned the Jackson 5 into worldwide superstars. He talks about the happy prankster days of his youth, traveling with his brothers, and of his sometimes difficult relationships with his family over the years. He speaks candidly about the inspiration behind his music, his mesmerizing dance moves, and the compulsive drive to create that has made him one of the biggest stars in the music business and a legend in his own time. Jackson also shares his personal feelings about some of his most public friends…friends like Diana Ross, Berry Gordy, Quincy Jones, Paul McCartney, Fred Astaire, Marlon Brando, and Katharine Hepburn. He talks openly about the crushing isolation of his fame, of his first love, of his plastic surgery, and of his wholly exceptional career and the often bizarre and unfair rumors that have surrounded it. Illustrated with rare photographs from Jackson family albums and Michael’s personal photographic archives, as well as a drawing done by Michael exclusively for this book, Moonwalk is a memorable journey to the very heart and soul of a modern musical genius.

Michael Joseph Jackson, often referred to as The King of Pop or MJ is an American musician and entertainer.

Librarian Note: There is more than one author in the GoodReads database with this name. See this thread for more information.

The seventh child of the Jackson family, Michael Jackson debuted on the professional music scene at the age of eleven as a member of the Jackson 5, and went on to become a pop icon as a solo artist. His successful career and controversial, enigmatic personal life have been a part of pop culture for almost four decades. Jackson has dominated pop music since the late 1970s, becoming the first black entertainer to amass a strong cross-over following on MTV with his revolutionary transformation of the music video as an art form and as a promotional tool. The popularity of videos aired on MTV such as "Beat It" and "Billie Jean" created a tremendous synergy that helped to put the relatively young channel "on the map" and Jackson continued to be a dominant figure on MTV with videos such as "Black or White" and "Scream". Jackson also popularized physically-complicated dance techniques, such as the robot and the moonwalk, that have redefined mainstream dance and entertainment. His distinctive style, dance moves, and vocals have influenced a whole generation of hip hop, pop, and R&B artists.

He has been cited as the "Most Successful Entertainer of All Time" by Guinness World Records, and holds the record for the best-selling album ever, Thriller, among 7 more guinness world records.

Michael Jackson has received thirteen Grammy Awards (eight on a single night in 1984) and two of his solo albums have been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Jackson has charted thirteen #1 singles in the United States, more than any other male artist in the Hot 100 era. In November 2006, the World Music Awards announced that Jackson had sold over 750 million units worldwide and given $300 million to charity, making Jackson one of the best-selling music artists and one of the most philanthropic performers of the 20th and 21st century. However, Jackson's controversial appearance and actions have damaged his reputation in the eyes of some of the public and album sales have been in decline since the mid 1990s.

From 1988 to 2005, Jackson lived on his Neverland Ranch property, where he built an amusement park and private zoo that was frequently attended by disadvantaged and terminally ill children. Rumors of sleepover parties received both negative media coverage and public attention after it was revealed that children had slept in his bed or bedroom. This first came to light when he was accused of child sexual abuse in 1993. Michael Jackson's relationship with children was brought into the spotlight again in 2003 when the TV documentary Living with Michael Jackson was broadcast. This resulted in Jackson being tried, and later acquitted, of more child molestation allegations and several other charges in 2005. After this, Jackson went on hiatus, traveling to countries such as Bahrain, before starting work on new material in Ireland. In early 2008, he released Thriller 25 (a special edition of the "Thriller" album), which was a commercial success selling nearly 1.5 million copies worldwide in seven weeks.

This book, well, sounds cheesy, but it's like a bible to me.
I wasn't even born when it was written, or when it was published, or when it was republished for that matter, but it is a delicate and mind-blowing blend of the spiritual and musical-genius of Michael that anyone of any age can appreciate. He was such a gentle person, and reading this, the delicate words seem to just lift off the page and calm me... Though it was written before all the problems, when all his money was in the fore-front, it is still very insightful into his deep insecurities. Michael is a hero to me; he stands up as a figure for anyone who is different. When he died those few years ago, I mourned him because of the huge loss the world has ever seen. I just felt it was such a shame that Hollywood pressured and crushed him so; it's the same cycle over and over, what with the lives of Marilyn Monroe, Freddie Mercury, Elvis, Amy Winehouse, Amy Winehouse and Michael all ending the same, seemingly inevitable way... I just desperately wish Michael hadn't fallen to it, because more than anyone he did not deserve to get lost that way, and that's what this book shows. He was sweet and highly generous; a man of the highest intellect and musical ability.

This book represents the Michael fans know; the Michael that most of the world never get to see. This, though, was not because he didn't show it to us, but because most of us chose not to listen...

Overall Michael, I love your book. Will keep my copy until I'm a grandma, maybe even give it to my grandchildren, along with my memories of you... In fact, I know I will.
God Bless you.

RIP Michael.

I enjoyed reading Michael's words about his life up until 1985, which is where the book ended. I didn't want it to end, I wanted to read more about his life after that, but unfortunately, he did not write another book. Moonwalk describes his early life and his feelings of insecurity on a personal level and told of his father's heavy-handed discipline. He talked about not being able to have friends his own age unless they were in show business because all the other people he met, treated him like a celebrity -- always grabbing at him and wanting something other than friendship.

Michael spent a lot of time alone, but he spent it wisely by perfecting his dancing and song writing skills which brought the world his wonderful music decade after decade. He discusses his changing appearance, skin conditions, and religion in his own words, which makes it easy reading for those who did not know much about him, and provides interesting tidbits that some who adore him did not know.

Moonwalk is Michael's story of hard work, long days, and a wish to find someone he could trust to care about him as a human instead of as a performer or celebrity. However, this book is far from sad; to the contrary, Moonwalk shows Michael coming into his own as a young person and as a legend in his own time. He talks about his dreams and how many of them had already come true by the early 1980s. He tells of his desire to help sick and poor children, and the world environment at large. His studio time was spent perfecting every song that was released and talks about songs he felt were not good enough to put on an album. I can't help but wonder how many of them are out there on tape somewhere.

The language he uses in this book shows his gentle spirit yet strong determination to succeed in getting his story out to the public. At the time this book was written, Michael had already been in several movies, won multiple awards for the Jackson 5 and his solo efforts, and had revolutionized the music video industry. He was at the right place at the right time and became a superstar.

He talked about the media pursuing him and the paparrazi shadowing his every move. He admitted to crying when he was sad or lonely, and to testing songs by singing bits to his sister, Janet. He was a perfectionist and it showed in his work.

Michael Jackson never gave up: even when the press was mean, even when he felt alone, even when his fans wouldn't let him get a night's sleep, even when he was mobbed, even when some records did worse than others, even when he was hurt. His determination, belief in himself, and his religion got him through hard times...and some of them were pretty darn hard.

What I loved about this book was that I could almost hear his soft voice reading the book to me. I could hear the excitement he felt when things had gone well and the desperation for a friend when things had gone wrong. Michael was a truly gifted singer, dancer, song writer, and producer and the world will never see another man like him.

The saddest part of this book is knowing that he had it all and yet was still searching for himself and a single person that loved Michael, the man. He had confidence in his abilities, but could never truly trust. Of course, he had managers and such, but what I mean, is someone he could spend time with as a human being -- I don't think he found that until his children were born. His physical being will be missed by many, but his music lives on.

Wonderful book! I savored every moment, and wish it was much longer, more detailed, and at least as thick as some of the BIOgraphies about him. It's one of the few books I actually felt stress about reading and understanding each and every word that was written - partly because of how much I paid to get my hands on this rare gem, and partly because it's one of the very few first-hand resources on Michael Jackson. Almost everything else is tainted by the perspective of someone who is writing ABOUT MJ, not MJ's actual thoughts, feelings, perspectives, and processes.

For me, it reinforced the feeling of meeting a kindred spirit, a soul mate, an artist driven by ideals of greatness, challenging himself to be and accomplish all he could, aiming always for perfection. Since the book was written and published in 1988, there is obviously a significant chunk of his life story that is not covered (SAD!), but I also found it interesting to read about where he thought his life (artistically and personally) might lead, what else he might focus on, create, and accomplish. He wrote about his struggle with the concept of fame and celebrity, and it highlighted the inconsistencies between Michael the public persona and Michael the shy, driven artist. The duality still presented itself.

Moonwalk was well written, with few typos, but occasionally jumped a little from topic to topic somewhat randomly. This actually led to the feeling that you (as the reader) were having a conversation with him , were getting the first-hand personal story directly from him to you.

I highly recommend this book, and am pleased to pass on the news that I've heard his estate just got the judge to approve a reprinting of this autobiography, so it should become more available in the near future.

Unfortunately, the worst kind of 'autobiography' - one that ultimately tells us nothing and delivers very little at all.

Usually, I sticky tab quotes in books that I like, but if I would have done that with this book the entire book would have been tabbed from cover to cover. So I didn’t even bother.

As we’re nearing the 10th anniversary of Michael Jackson’s passing (tomorrow, actually), I feel like this month was the perfect time to read this book. I only started being a hardcore fan and loving Michael with all my heart earlier this year, and I’ve never experienced the anniversary of his passing while I’ve been a fan of him, so this year will be my first. And it’ll be hard, yes, but I feel this day is meant to celebrate his life, his legacy and all of his accomplishments, and this book highlights all of that wonderfully (at least his earlier life and career anyways).

This book was a wonderful delight to read. I loved hearing about Michael’s life and backstory and everything he went through and how hard he worked to be where he was in the late 80s, when he wrote this book. And I loved hearing all of it in his own words. Not what the media has to say about him, none of that. His. Complete. Own. Words. And. Thoughts. And it was amazing to read that, because everything he ever said has had such an impact on me and the words in this book are no different. I love the way he talks, the way he describes things, the way he tells stories, I just love all of his words. They, and him, are truly on a whole other level than any other celebrity ever was or will be. He was truly a special, unique, one of a kind person with a brilliant mind and outlook on life. And that’s one of the many, many reasons why I love him and why I loved this book so much.

This book was so inspiring. The way he talks about goals and dreams and all the encouragement he expresses about reaching those goals and dreams really have inspired me. The way he talks about being kind and loving one another and making the world a better place has inspired me, even more than he already has through his songs and interviews and the like, to better myself, to look in the mirror and make a change in my life.

I truly just loved and enjoyed every second of this book, and everything Michael talked about within it.

When I finished it, closed the cover and realized that I was done, I really just sat there for who knows how long, with the book pressed against my chest, my heart. I let the tears fall, while I sat there and was hugging the book. It means the entire world to me, it really does. I truly feel that it is the closest I will ever get to Michael, to knowing him. And that means a lot more to me than I can express in words.

So, on the 25th of June let’s all celebrate the life and career and accomplishments and the amazing human being Michael Jackson was. Whether you’re a fan or not, you can’t deny that he deserves celebrating for all of the wonderful and amazing things, both career and humanitarian wise, he did on this Earth while he was here. He deserves every last bit of recognition and celebration this world has to offer. Because he was truly the most amazing man that ever walked this Earth.

I love you so, so much and I miss you everyday, Mike. I wish I had the chance to meet you, to tell you how much you mean to me, how much I love you. But I don’t have that chance, and as much as it breaks my heart, I know you’re at peace now, more than you ever were while you were on this Earth that treated you so cruelly without cause or reason. And that’s all I could ever really ask for 🙏🏻❤️✨

On my way to the library yesterday, I heard the sad news about Michael Jackson's passing. I borrowed this book and read it last night. He was an incredibly talented person who was forced into the public eye at a very young age. I think many people misunderstood him. This book was written by him when he was 29 years old. At one point in the book he said that he already felt like he was 80 because he had been working so hard for most of his life (beginning when he was only five). Every single day was non-stop pressure, and from the time he was 11 years old he couldn't go out in public without being mauled by fans. They terrified him. He never had a 'normal' life. I will always remember him fondly.

I am a massive Michael Jackson fan, and I love hearing his story in his own words. His publishers rejected the first draft of the book because it was not scandalous enough, and so this was the first time he revealed the childhood beatings he experienced, which undoubtedly contributed to the person who he became (not the freak people say he is, but the wonderful, loving humanitarian (but of course, I'm biased!)) It also contains some interesting passages regarding how he strongly opposed the drug-taking culture which many musicians indulged in (despite becoming addicted to painkillers only a few years later, a problem which possibly contributed to his death) and his statement that Elvis Presley was never a influence upon his music (though he would go on to marry his daughter!
The reason why I gave the book 4 stars and not 5 is because it is quite general, being directed towards a large audience who might not be too familiar with his music, and so I'd have liked it to be a little more in-depth and focus on his family relationships and the motivations/thought-processes behind his greatest songs. Plus he also name-drops a lot, not only the names of other celebrities but random people who might have done his hair and make-up one time - quite frustrating and monotonous! Also, as it was published in 1988, it misses out much of MJ's later life, which remains much shrouded in mystery. A follow-up book would have been great, but unfortunately it will never be.
That being said, this is an essential read for fans and anyone interested in the King of Pop!

When this book was published in 1988 I was only 11 years old. 20 years later I read this book, after the author has gone to heaven. I'm glad that this book exists. I'm glad that Michael eventually agreed for the book to be printed after a last minute hesitation about it.

I love the book. There're many photos of Michael himself and with the people he loved and adored. There's one picture of himself that he drew , which are precious for me, a big fan. On the hard cover, Michael's signature printed in gold. He had wanted the fans to feel like they owned a signed copy. That was a nice touch to the book, and a very sweet thought of Michael as always.

Those aside, Moonwalk let us know a little more of Michael's feelings and views. I said "a little" because I think he had reserves. He never like the idea of his life being exposed to everyone out there. The book offered him a chance to let the public know more about him but he never really went very deep of various things he talked about. I guess for someone whose privacy was literally non-existing, writing a book like this is already a big breakthrough.

I know Michael was talented, but the book let me know just how much more talented he was. He really was born to become a "King".

I had expected him to tell a bit more about Brooke Shield but it was just a one liner. But hey, who are we to say what he should or should not write in the book? He told of what he wouldn't mind for the public, for the fans to know. Everyone has that right. It is HIS book afterall.

I really enjoyed this book. It was nice to get a peek into the life of Michael Jackson that we normally don't know about. I just wish it would have been a more recent book so we can get what he was feeling now a days, before he died.

I love and have always loved Michael and his music. He will truely be the King Of Pop forever!!! While I wasn't even born when most of the events in this book take place it's nice to see what kind of childhood he had, even if it wasn't the best with all the performing and traveling.

I found myself searching for anything I could while I was reading the book to get another piece of the puzzle b/c I wasn't even around when he was starting. I searched youtube videos to see what he was talking about when he mentioned things from the Jackson 5 through his Motown 25 "Billie Jean" performance.

I truely adore MJ and he will be missed!!! RIP! This was a wonderful book!!!!!

"I'm a person of the present, and I have to ask, How are things going now? What's happening now? What's going to happen in the future that could affect what has happened in the past?" ~ Michael Jackson, quote from Moon Walk, Michael Jackson's One & Only Autobiography, His Life, in His Words.

Michael's book was first published in 1988. We now know his future, but not clear how that future affected his then "now" or past. He said at one point in his bio that he felt like an old person, due to having started in show business so young; thinking he would be closer to death than he actually was. Little did he know.

He spoke about sadness of artists whose lives ended tragically, usually due to drug use. What more could these fabulous performers have done, had they lived. So sad, that MJ's own life would come to an early, tragic end.

I liked that the book had lots of photographs sprinkled through out the pages, rather than all clumped together in special sections. What I did not like, was some of the people in the photos were not identified, and it seems they were placed out of sequence with the story.

After reading, I wanted to know more. Michael says he was shy and a private person. When the book was ready to be published, he decided not to do it, but finally relented and allowed publication. I guess those things say why he left out more personal bits of his life.

I learned about acute acne affecting his self-esteem; that he had two plastic surgeries to alter his nose and also added a cleft in his chin. I was able to find the Jackson's first recording (Big Boy, Steel Records) on You Tube. I think the video was actually their Motown audition. Interesting to watch soon after reading all about what lead up to that recording and fame that followed.

Insights from Jackson:

"One thing I know about children is that if they don't get the love they need from their parents, they'll get if from someone else and cling to that person, a grandparent, anyone."

"...there are people out there who don't actively hold you back as much as they work quietly on your insecurities so that you hold yourself back."

"I believe in wishes and in a person's ability to make a wish come true. I really do." "...a wish is more than a wish, it's a goal. It's something your conscious and subconscious can help make reality."

Jackson also stressed the family goal to bring unity to races through music, which is "color-blind".

Good book. As a fan of both the Jackson 5, and Michael's solo career, I could rate his biography higher, but not a book I would care to read a second time.

Tam notum: 4.5/5.

Moonwalk is an amazing and very descriptive story of Michael Jackson's life prior to and up until 1985. Throughout the book, Jackson talks about his struggles as a growing famous teenager. He acknowledges that fame isn't what it all seems to be. In fact, he would love to trade places with anyone at anytime. He exaggerates on the point that because of his fame, his life is not what he wanted it to be. Growing up with an abusive father, with no friends and absolutely no independence makes him love singing and dancing even more. He claims that on the stage and in front of his fans he is the real Michael Jackson. Furthermore, throughout the book Jackson touches on key points such as the color of the skin and the theories behind them. He clearly explains that due to a skin disease such as vitiligo, his skin was discolor and it was something that he himself could not control.
I would recommend this to all the Michael Jackson fans out there. Even to those who believe the media and call him a liar. I would want people to research and know the truth before they start making accusations. After they know the truth, then it's up to them to decide what they want to believe in.

Jackson was a consummate musician and entertainer: of that there is no doubt. He created some of the finest pop music of the late twentieth century. However, his skill lay in music; he was not a writer, and it really shows here. Despite the fact that the original material was worked on by a professional writer and two editors (one of whom was Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, no less!), it really disappoints. The language is overly simplistic, as if it were the musings of a twelve-year-old boy, not the life of a thirty-year-old adult man (his age when it was completed). Perhaps that never-grow-up Peter Pan image was something they wanted to present. Yet considering how many things he'd done and people he'd met by that age, he told very few stories about them, and what anecdotes he did tell were sparse and devoid of any real description. I realize he craved his privacy, but when a megacelebrity like Jackson produces his life story, he should be more open or the whole exercise is really not worth it. When I read the Afterword by his other editor, Shaye Areheart, which was written properly, I understood exactly what was missing - a ghost writer who could have injected some flair and interest into the text. Although it has been hailed as an "autobiography", I didn't feel I got much in the way of revelation, or that I now know Michael Jackson the man any more than I did before I started this book.

This is the one autobiography Michael Jackson actually wrote himself, and it gives a look into his musical process and a bit of insight into his internal world. I don't know what other to say, than he was an incredible genius. The way in which he describes how he creates music, what his songs mean to him is simply mind blowing. For example, in this passage:

"'Everybody' is more playful than 'Off the Wall' dance tunes, with Mike McKinney propelling it like a plane turning and bearing down. The background vocals suggest 'Get on the Floor's' influence, but Quincy's sound is deeper, like you're in the eye of the storm--our sound was more like going up the glass elevator to the top floor while looking down, rising effortlessly."

I'm not even sure I know what he's talking about in that description there, but obviously he does or he wouldn't be the genius that he is. And who can really talk about music in that way, other than a musical genius?

Towards the end he talks about himself personally. I couldn't help but be moved about his passion for the world. He was a really amazing person.

I enjoyed this book, which I purchased and first read years ago. It gives interesting insight into a man who was, in my opinion, undoubtedly a musical genius. Unfortunately, as with most geniuses, this trait can turn against a person.
It was certainly interesting to read about Michael's childhood and their treatment at the hands of their father, which I felt was rather restrained. Not to mention the impact that thousands of screaming female fans would have had on an eleven-year-old, in addition to performing sets in between acts at various strip clubs from the age of five. Things like that, and being vilified for nothing more horrible than growing up, would have an affect on anyone's psyche.

When I learned the Michael Jackson one of my favorite singers of all time had written a book I had choice but to read it and I am happy to announce that I was not disappointed.

This book was well written though it was very short and somewhat closed off like Michael always seemed to be with a lot of his personal life. I also can't help but feel that perhaps Michael wrote this book at the wrong point and time in his life. That maybe it was written too early. But then again I know that if Michael had gotten this book deal at a later time he would have definitely turned it down.

Anyway I LOVE this book and would recommend it to anyone!

Michael is talking to you as if you are having a cup of tea with him in his living room. You get the sense that Michael is having more than tea, because his stream of consciousness takes fascinating turns and goes off on self-maieutic tangents, which provide insight into his character, determination, and artistry.

So, I'm back in my Michael Jackson era. Seeing the musical MJ just a couple of days ago inspired me to read his biography. He talks about his childhood, being in the spotlight from the mere age of five, and his journey to becoming the pop phenomenon who released Thriller at just twenty-four. I've always liked his music and found Michael to be a very interesting individual who truly struggled with the challenges thrown at him from every angle. It's not easy being that famous, and I respected him a lot for it.

"If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make a change. Start with the man in the mirror. Start with yourself. Don't be looking at all the other things. Start with you."

Michael achieved something that no one had ever done before him and probably never will again. This book shines a light on every aspect of his journey to becoming the King of Pop.

"What one wishes is to be touched by truth and to be
able to interpret that truth so that one may use
what one is feeling and experiencing, be it despair
or joy, in a way that will add meaning to one's life
and will hopefully touch others as well.

This is art in its highest form. Those moments of
enlightenment are what I continue to live for
."

I'm not rating the writing, but I found "Moonwalk" incredibly insightful, even though I'm not a fan. Despite being familiar with his music and celebrity status due to his phenomenon, this book offered me a deeper understanding.

Michael Jackson was a very talented and multifaceted entertainer and man. We all basically know his story or at least think we do, but until you read Moonwalk you never know how Michael viewed his upbringing and his career(which coincided).

Of course this book was originally published in 1988, so this is his prospective for the year before that.

I loved that he shared this with his fans, his life at that time from his point of view interspersed with pictures of his family and himself through different stages of his life.

I wasn't the biggest Michael Jackson fan in the world, but I am always fascinated with the "real" celebrity/person and not just what is presented to us in the media everyday.

All that being said, I had a hard time getting through this because at times it felt as though I was reading this book from a child's or at the very least teenager's prospective. It's as though an adult didn't write this book at all. Hence the two stars.

I do think that if you are a fan of his or curious about him in anyway you should still read it. It is a good way to get to know Michael a little better or least the person he was at this time in his life and career.

Moonwalk Review

Book Rating: 5 stars out of 5.

Story Line: 5 stars out of 5. I really felt like I got to know the real Michael Jackson by reading this. It was nice getting to know his thoughts and feelings. People really tend to judge others. So many people made up lies about him. This book was an amazing read. I really enjoyed and loved every minute of it. I read it slower than I normally do with books because I really wanted to absorb every word that he said. I successfully did that and I feel like I got to know him because of it. I really wish I could have met him to tell him what I thought of the book. RIP Michael Jackson. Let your music and book continue to touch people all around the world. <3

Writing Style: 5 stars out of 5. Michael had a really eloquent way that he spoke. I felt like you got to hear his actual voice. His writing was really him. It was a great book. Thank you, Michael, for letting me get to know you through your writing.

As a kid, one of the artists my Dad always played for me was Michael Jackson and I grew to absolutely love his music and I still do to this day. So when I recently found out he wrote a book in 1988 I was like hell yes I need this book in my life and I am so glad I found out about it. I read this book in literally one day and it is so easy to read as you can hear Michael’s voice within the writing. Also, reading about how he came up with ideas and the production of his songs was just so great.

I know there is a lot of controversy surrounding Michael Jackson at the minute and I don’t want to get into my opinions about that on here, but his music was such a big part of my childhood that I just couldn’t miss out on reading this book. Highly recommend if you are a massive MJ fan like me💕

I read this book many many years ago and being a huge Michael Jackson fan I found it to be very open and a great read. Michael talks about his childhood and his rise to fame especially during his "Thriller" era. I only wish that he would have added more to the book in his last years of life or that he would have wrote another book on his life after the trials. A big thank you to him for sharing his memories for his fans, especially now that he is gone. This is one book for sure I will NEVER get rid of! A great read for any true Jackson fan!

Michael's early life in his own words. To be such an integral part of my youth and a role model for me, I felt honored to have read this book penned by the man.

To know him on a private level, if even only through his words on paper, is an honor and one I will cherish for all the days of my life.

Fan or not, getting to know him is a beautifully sad, brilliant, awe inspiring thing and I would recommend this book to everyone.

Bravo MJ! All for L.O.V.E.
R.I.P. dear one.
