WHEN CRISIS STRIKES...What to Do, What to Say, How to Help is a goldmine of extremely good information on how to be of genuine service to family, friends, and neighbors in many different situations, primarily health crises. It's practical, authentic, and rich with compassion. I especially appreciate how the book is structured, with sections organized for easy reference in an actual crisis. I found myself reading it from cover to cover so I wouldn't miss any of Allidah Poole Hicks's and Bonnie Knuti's pointers as well as the humanly interesting stories. I'll treasure it as a reference, but also for the kindness and emotional intelligence it shares. Highly recommended for every household.
