The Neuroscience Of Morning Routine: How To Increase Dopamine And Motivation: A Science-Backed Protocol To Wake-Up Early, Increase Energy & Productivity And Avoid Afternoon Slump For Men And Women

Rate this book
You’ve probably heard that a thousand times.

And it makes perfect sense, when you wake up, your brain is in a highly suggestible state.

So, what happens to you in the hour after you wake up primes your brain for the rest of the day… for better or worse!

Are you going to be happy and productive, crushing your objectives and end the day feeling proud of yourself?

Or will you be lazy and irritable, sloppy and unable to focus on what really matters?

You already had both kinds of days …

And anyone would love to have a system to always experience the first one.

Which brings us to Morning Routines and why they’re so popular right

The idea that with the right set of practices you can consistently start your day feeling great and productive is incredibly appealing.

But which one should you do? There are thousands of different routines just on YouTube alone …

Should you go for the “optimal morning routine,” the routine that gives you “superpowers” or the “billion-dollar” routine?

Every content creator and guru is telling you something different.

Should you follow a quick 15-minute routine or an hour-long one?

Maybe you should journal, have cold showers, work out, fast or eat a special kind of healthy breakfast …

Or maybe you should meditate, look at your vision board, do some self-hypnosis or shoot affirmations in front of your mirror …

It’s all a mess!

And it gets so confusing that many people just give up. They just drink their coffee and go to work.

At the Neuromastery Lab, we decided to look at the neuroscience behind various practices to determine which of them are effective.

Our goal is not to give you a one-size-fits-all routine, but to provide you with a collection of proven techniques that you can tailor to your goals and personal preferences.

This way you can decide whether you want to incorporate them into your own personal routine.

In this book, we'll share examples and insights to help you create YOUR perfect morning routine, while debunking common misconceptions and mistakes along the way.

We tried to keep that book short cause we know your time is precious and that topic has already been very overcomplicated.

Inside you’ll
And much, much more …

Are you ready to consistently win your mornings and transform your life?

Backed Science for a great Morning

As someone who loves science based facts, this book takes the cake. I was able to understand the authors explanation of why and how while also looking up their references along with others to confirm.

All of the steps for a great morning routine are doable without being extremely difficult. Its habit building at its finest and a lot of people struggle with it but again, it's doable. I will be incorporating all of these into my life because I need a healthy change in my life. Habit building. It takes time but I believe these habits are with it.

For being a self published book, this is actually a really good one. It’s down to the basic and easy to follow (and read!).

Would I recommend it? Yes! Absolutely if you are interested in neuroscience, mornings and/or trying to give yourself a do over for having better mornings.
Having a good morning/start to the day will at least give you the power to say “at least my day started good”.

highly suggested

"The author's impressively navigates intricate technical terms while delivering clear and insightful explanations; very skillful writing not only makes complex neuroscience accessible but also enhances the overall understanding of how morning routines impact our brain functions. Despite the abundance of technical language, the book maintains a high level of readability, making it an exceptional resource for those seeking a deep dive into the neuroscience behind effective morning habits. It strikes a commendable balance between scientific rigor and reader-friendly explanation, creating a valuable resource for both enthusiasts and those new to the subject."

great read!

I am thrilled to find all the basics of a great morning routine in one place! I have come across these tips here and there; to have them together, with the reasoning behind them, in a succinct presentation, is priceless for me! I hope that the same will be true for many others. You could tackle each point one at a time, and build your routine slowly, or more quickly, it’s up to you. Well done!

I grabbed this book for free via Kindle. There are some practical ideas in the book, but I'm not sure there's robust science behind all of them. Two that come to mind are drinking lemon juice or Himalayan salt in your water every morning. I'll stick to plain water and get vitamin C by eating fruit and vegetables.

Scientific Reasonings Make Sense

This is the 2nd book of Andrew Humington that I've read. He lists the usual reasons for making changes, yet he also adds the science behind it. It's fascinating to learn what our brains and bodies experience with different actions. I can honestly say that my routine has begun to change even on weekends.
If I don't change, nothing will change.

This great book had some interesting knowledge in healthcare.

I mainly apply the main aspects that this book highlights in my daily life.

However, to my extent, not all these will work for everybody - because all our bodies are different and have different ailments.
