Very good history of the Niagara region. Many interesting stories about the early settlers, the disputes between US and Canada, the War of 1812, and the many famous visitors and characters who visited the Falls. Some of it was quite amusing and ridiculous, but made for an interesting read. Lots of old photographs as well. Published in 1979, but still valid for history enthusiasts.
