Sierra Leone in West Africa is one of the poorest countries in the world. It has some 780,000 hectares of fertile farmland, and yet its farmers cannot get beyond subsistence. This photostory investigates the lives of farmers in a small rural community, and looks at why, with so much land, even farmers are eating imported rice.
