Excellent book. The book was written in a conversational format, similar to the market wizards series and it makes the book very easy to read. The setups discussed were specific and they cater to the US futures/commodities/equities market. The setups are generally higher highs/lows for longs and vice versa, range contraction/expansion, divergences and reversals. Some trades last within minutes and some for a few days. The book also highlights the importance of recognising strengths/weaknesses at market open/close and how to profit from it. If you have been trading for a while, you may add a thing or two to your arsenal. If you are new, you may choose to pick one or two and go from there, though some of them are pretty outdated.

Personally the setups were good, but the real gem in this book are the nuances discussed by the two traders. Their thoughts, routines, do's and dont's are incredibly valuable. The emphasis on proper money management is enforced throughout the book, and an interesting study about money managers is discussed at the end of the book.

Interesting book with helpful tips on short term trading strategies.

This book doesn't waste time and goes straight to Setups, examples and Pros and Cons which I liked. I guess for me my favourite setup I could take from this book is the Turtle Soup setup which is explained so simply that anyone can attempt it (but mastering the trades would takes a lot of hard work).

Lot of the setups I skimmed/skipped through as these were specifically focused on intraday (day) trading or trading the US Stock markets. However, the explanation behind their strategies is helpful to know.

Smart

In this book, the authors talk about a few trading strategies and the philosophies required when investing and trading.
Mostly, the authors have written about swing trades in equities and commodities, and how referring different types of charts can help in augmenting returns and profits.

There are more than 15 strategies one can use for intraday trades, swing trades in both equities and commodities, and in the philosophical section they have mostly, talked about how to react to the NEWS, how to be proactive, how to try to reach the breakeven point in trading, and lastly, how to be consistent for a longer time.

Do read this book, as it's many charts and graphical representations. For traders and investors, it's a must-read book.

Simply fantastic. I had little interest in copying Linda's strategies, and even so I got some nice information out of this book.

Practical even 25 years later. LBR still teaches and trades to this day; truly a legend. Looking forward to testing some of the concepts from the book.

Great book for day traders (few books out there written by real day traders). Some outdated concepts, but the spirit of the strategies remain valid.

A clear masterpiece for day trading; full of original unprecedented ideas that are used by other famous writers such as Jeff Cooper in their books.
Turtle Soup is my own favorite setup that I use everyday in Forex markets.

This is for the very short-term and creative trader who is not me. The straightforwardness of the presentation entails mastery.
