Holy cow! This is an amazing and original plot. If you love Science Fiction read this book! I can't stress that enough. Read this book! This book had some typos, small things like duplicate words scattered throughout it but that did nothing to take away from the plot. I don't want to give it away but the ending is absolutely mind blowing. I'm going to make sure that I watch for more from this writer and see if I can dig anything else up from him.

This book is hard to describe. Mildly Lovecraftian in tone, I found myself becoming creeped out along with the main character as the truth was revealed. Very good book.

A great concept and carried out in a way that we are just as blind and confused about what is going on as the hero. We are in his point of view, learning more as he learns more with the world slowly being revealed to us both. What is supposed to just be a pulp piece to keep experiencers entertained ends up being so much more. There was quite a bit of jumping around of the narrative, but after the first sentence of the chapter it was clear who was telling what part of the story; even though it is not necessarily clear where it all ties in to the story as a whole...but it all comes together perfectly as it continues. A definite page turner that will make you look at technology we have today and wonder where it leading us...

Overall - This was a very solid story that I enjoyed reading. I found the ending, however, to be a bit lacking.

I enjoyed the balance of action and drama, and was somewhat surprised by the details of the big secret. I found the characters likable (or not likable as intended) and sufficiently developed. I think perhaps some of the flash-back parts may have been unnecessary (though not terribly distracting), but I really would have liked the ending to have been longer and more detailed.

I got this as a free kindle download and there were a few editing errors but they weren't so frequent or egregious as to be distracting or unbearable.

The concept of the story is compelling even if it did reminded me darker rendition of the movie surrogates with a brief dash of westworld. A good read.
