An interesting short story, featuring familiar charaters but with zero relevance or insight to the main stories. I would say more, but it would reveal the twist. While interesting, It was not something I was looking for and not what I want in short stories revisiting worlds.

The concept was interesting, but the repetitiveness, without sufficient rewording, was annoying. The tongue-in-cheek ending, though, left me laughing.

Irritating

This was repetitive. I love Jennifer Fallon"s stories, especially The Second Sons Trilogy, but not this short story. This simply irritated me.

Only gripe I have about this is that I wish it were longer! I missed all these characters especially Dirk Provin, and would have loved seeing them all going through an adventure all over again. Though Dirk was a bit less brilliant and manipulative this time round, but I guess he wasn't trying very hard. I half expected to find out that the reason the "worlds" were mashed together was because the "Creator" was tipsy! All in all, a fun read, tongue-in-cheek and left me really wishing for more.

This is brilliant! I read it as part of the Legends of Australian Fantasy collection. I have never read any of Fallon's books but will definitely be adding them to my 'to read' list. You don't necessarily need to know the details of who all the characters are or the specifics of the plot lines for any of the books they come from to enjoy the quirky humour and clever writing used in this story.

A short story which was part of "Legends of Australian Fantasy". Absolutely loved it, very clever. It does help if you have read previous works by Jennifer Fallon as a few previous characters from different series are mentioned.

A short story, that's a little naff really. I think anyone who's read Fallon's work and so knows the characters might get more out of it. I think it was a good plot rather poorly executed. It didn't make me want to read more of Fallon's work. Disappointed.

Enjoyable short story that felt a bit fanfictiony because all your favourite characters from her other stories got together in this to have an adventure. It was satisfying.

I wish the description stated that this was a short story. It was interesting concept though and I enjoyed reading it.

Nice turn

A nice job of using what must pop up in a successful author's life every day to make a fun story. Well done
