Aria loves the Old World.
Here, she has power. And she’s in love, bonded with THE man, her soul mate. New love usually has its challenges but Aria and Xander face a unique problem. Xander’s father, Athos, is threatened by Aria’s very existence. If she doesn’t take her rightful place as written through prophecy, her birthright, chaos will reign. Are Xander and Aria doomed before they ever have a chance to be together? Author Jill Hidy paints a vivid, captivating Old World with vibrant characters and weaves the reader a story wrought with secrets and betrayal. I loved watching Aria turn into the warrior who can kick some ass when she’s threatened. And when she’s surrounded by her family, watch out! Sure to be a classic love story for the ages.
The ending had me wondering. Will the author give us a third book? I certainly hope so.
