We loved every word! Times and the others struggle with their faith and God was faithful. Great perspective for kids and adults to have discussions about.
The rating of 5 stars was given by my 10 year old boys.
I read this book as a read aloud as part of our history/Bible curriculum. It is a wonderful work of Biblical fiction that helps young readers (and adults) picture the events and circumstances surrounding the Great Flood. While the actual portrayal of the Great Flood in this book are recorded in the Bible, Lucille Travis does an excellent job of recreating the Great Flood event in a work of fiction without losing the integrity of the Biblical account.
I highly recommend this book for children as a way to help bring this Biblical event into a real life understanding.
Great historical book. The chapter with the actual flood waters coming is intense for children, but the rest of the book is safe. This book shows what it may have been like to be on the ark.
