This book is about a little girl who bullies the other kids in her dance class. The teacher never seems to notice what's happening and gets angry at the other kids over and over again. So the kids play a prank on the bully. I can understand wanting to have the bully get what's coming to her, but this is not what we want to teach students about how bullies are handled by children or by adults.
I was not a fan. It was a book about being mean. Bootsi is mean and in the end the other two kids are mean to Bootsie. While the text may be appropriate for 1st grade readers, the content was not what I thought was appropriate.
