Quincy Mercer has had a chokehold on Sienna Casanova’s heart from the very first day their eyes met. When he abruptly ends things and moves on, it sends Sienna into a tailspin, opening wounds of love, loss, and ghosts. On the outside, she’s a wealthy woman of every man’s dreams. But inside, she bears the burden of loneliness and the ever-present resentment for the men in her life that she’s loved the most.
Years later, she’s recovered. But a one-off trip back home to the Casanova empire in Miami brings haunted affairs from the past that she can no longer ignore. In this tale of sex, drugs, love, and redemption, Sienna’s past and future collide. A father she hates, an unrequited love, and an FBI agent crash into each other, and they all want one Sienna.

This book was 🤌🏾! So good I couldn't put it down. I stayed on the edge of my seat. I'm miffed that there is a part 2 that has yet to be written. Honestly that's the only drawback. Great structure, character development and we'll written. Just read the damn book.
Well damn, this felt like a whole season of Power! I enjoy Sarafina’s writing style it’s vivid and full of depth. Her character development is top-tier!! She truly knows how to craft a story and bring it to life!
Okay. Whew. The End is what bumped the stars up for me. Multiple POV. I love a good multiple POV when done right and this was done well. Easy to digest. Lots of twists; with the biggest at the end. Surprisingly I did not take to any of the characters in the beginning.
The story follows multiple characters in the same world. Sienna, the head of a drug enterprise’s daughter, living in Boston attending Uni, took a flight to her estranged father’s birthday party. On the plane, she meets a handsome law enforcement agent. Upon landing, she is thrust back into her old life with a love she lost years before and nursing a strained relationship with her father after her mother”’s tragic death 20 years prior. Sienna loves Quincy more than anything but should she be with him again after all these years. Quincy’s life is very different now. With him slated to take over as the new boss, multiple legitimate business, underbosses, sketchy familial ties, and 2 young children with an obsessive BM. Quincy is anything but available.
Sienna, to be the daughter of a Cartel boss, was green as heck. Annoyingly green. I did not understand her obsession with Q, but first loves are like that so I had to give her some grace. Quincy, I started to like more towards the end. He was smart, perceptive, and calculating.
This first installment was well written, captivating with just the right amount of drama.
This book was recommended by a page I follow on Instagram. I’m so glad I read it because Lawd the drama. This was well written and thought out well. She draws you in from the first chapter. First chapter is like a page long. The first few chapters are short and choppy. I was like what’s going on here. It’s going back and forth between two main characters. Then we are introduced to the next main character and the chapters get longer, more complex. When I tell you she was so intentional with this book. I read at least 5 to 6 books a week and this literary gem is Chef’s kiss! I’m not even giving anything away in this review because it will ruin this good work. Read it now. It’s intentional, well thought out, with a taste of sophisticated drug dealing. I’m telling you read it and we need book 2 cause WTF? Casanova? SMH
Sarafini this is a very awesome read. My first time reading something from you. You are a great author. The story line and the characters is magnificent. I'm enjoying it very much. Now I'm on to part 2 of this story. I'm sure it will be even better cause there are alot of unanswered questions in part 1 to me. Lata
What a ride! I’m so glad I started this book with part 2 already written. The character development and story build was dope. I somewhat saw the twist at the end coming but it didn’t make it any less exciting to read. I also don’t know who I’m rooting for, lol. Everybody has an angle it seems. On to read the second book!
The book was awesome!!! The character development was phenomenal. Can’t wait to find out why everyone is against Sienna and Q being together. Felt really bad for Sheena. Can’t wait for part 2
What I just read just took me through so many emotions. The drama of love, the disloyalty, loyalty and crazy all wrapped up makes a great read. Read this book you will not be disappointed.
This is book is so good yall please read it it’s a 10/10! it has such a good plot twist and the pov from the different characters in the book leaves you wanting more. i can’t wait for book two
I thought gold was the most magical book ever written but this was immensely more additive and imaginative. Sis where’s part deux. Let me read the rough draft.
4.5 ⭐️ Love this author's writing. Characters you love to read about and good plot. What the heck is Sienna going to do? Onto book 2. My full thoughts will be over there.
I need answers! Sienna, Quincy, Jackson, Paul Casanova, Sheena and even Kathy owe me some closure. After reading Gold, I immediately raced to borrow this book. I couldn't wait to consume the only other release by this author on Amazon. But sadly, now I have two cliffhanger stories that kept me immersed the entire time I was reading with no wrap up on either one. Baby, I'm begging, baby I'm begging, begging baby, like Jodeci 🤣 I'm feenin for the second book in each series!
Loved this book. It had a lot going on, with multiple points of views. I enjoyed the therapy sessions between Sheena and Dr. Evil the most. The story ends on a cliffhanger
