More of an extensive Wikipedia-entrance, with some observations of the writer, a big fan of Melanie. It seems very less interviews were conducted for this biography. The book relies on existing material from magazines, newspapers and websites.
Some essential events in the life of Melanie, which must have a profound effect on her, are described in just one page. I won’t get further into these events, as they are deeply personal.
We get a good insight in her performances and albums, but without any input from Melanie and/or people around her, this bio remains superficial.
