Very handy for reading before and after the trip. During the trip, a pocket French-English dictioary is better. Advantages: compact,arranged by logical trip topics such as finding a room, how to pay, and so on. For example, Nous voudrions payer separement-we want to pay separately. Pronunciation guides are easy. Editors used small illustrations, red and black ink and font size and shape to pull you through the text quickly. Going out in the evening includes not only how to get a date but how to refuse in descending degrees of politeness!
