Everything aspiring teachers need to pass the exam In 2006-2007, more than 10,000 teachers were certified in California via the CSET Multiple Subjects exam. This revised edition helps aspiring teachers prepare for the exam with subject reviews, two full-length practice tests with answers and detailed explanations, diagnostic tests, and test-taking tips and reminders to put candidates on the right track.
This has been my favorite study guide for a basic review of math and science and other subjects but there are some factual errors in the history section, eg: it states that Emperor Constantine divded the Roman Empire when in fact his predecessor Diocletian split the empire. I hope the people who write the CSET tests have a better grasp of history than Baron's and Cliff Notes.
I recommend studying this guide for a thorough but basic review and then studying the Kaplan guide, which provides more in-depth information and more advanced math and science problems. Kaplan is also the only CSET guide book that contains completely accurate historical information.
I haven't taken the CSET yet, but I already feel more prepared that I did after taking a practice exam when I first began studying. I would have given a five star review but some of the topics are covered to a greater extent than others so it may not be helpful for those in need of a great deal of instruction on all areas. I may edit this review after I take the exam
This book will help you review for the CSET Mulitple Subjects exams. This book provides an extensive review on everything you need to know to pass the test as well as 2 complete practice exams with details explaining each answer.
this book was very helpful! i passed 2 out 3 sections of CSET. I didn't get a chance to study section 3..I know once I do this book will cover everything I need to know!
Absolutely the best test prep book I found for CSET Multiple Subjects. Kaplan had info not necessary for the test. REA had many mistakes. Love the design of this book.
