Cynthia Norman knew that she was destined for a strange future…in the past…with a dragon. The only confusing thing was how to get her there. With a lifetime of struggle within a race not her own facing her, she took a deep breath, got into a shuttle and hopped a comet. Garo had been dreaming of his yellow haired alien, but the reality of her presence is more than he was prepared for. A knee-jerk reaction on his part makes Cynthia seek out a suitable substitute and with a grim certainty, he has to claim her as his own. Will she accept his offer, or hold his initial rejection over his head?
We finally get Cynthia's story - the Terran who went back in time to save the Drai race. She's the one who told selected Drai males to become sleepers throughout the universe, waiting for their Terran mates to show up in the future. The epilogue was particularly interesting.
Like the plot. It was a very enjoyable read with the heroine time travelling. I love the last part of the story about Cynthia. It was very funny and intriguing. In intensity we know that the dragon shifters are dying but someone made a proposition for some of the shifters to sleep and now we know it was Cynthia. Love the story a lot.
