It's been twenty-one years since I married him, and up until a year ago, I was living every woman's dream. When the stress of everything going wrong around us puts a strain on our marriage, I start wondering if leaving is the right thing for me. But can I leave the only man I've ever loved and my home - the Rebel Vipers MC clubhouse.
Mountain has been my rock since the day I met him, but how do I get him to open up when I don't even know what to say myself? We keep pushing each other away and I'm tired of fighting.
Add in the fact that the clubhouse is busting at the seams with wedding planning and more babies on the way, I don't know how much more I can take.
Mountain
I love my Old Lady more than anything in this world, but how do I fight for something when I don't even know if I'm worthy of it anymore? To make matters worse, an early blizzard hits, trapping everyone inside the clubhouse for days with limited power and no way to know when we'll be able to leave.
Just as the storm passes, the news drops that four couples are going to be tying the knot on Christmas Eve, and I'm sent floundering to make things better for Blue. Now the holidays are just around the corner, but happiness and cheer are last on my list.
When I finally realize I need to fight to get Blue back and save my marriage, will it be too late for her to give me another chance? Will my blue-eyed beauty let me in, or will I lose it all?
This is not a usual Rebel Vipers MC story. Revisit and reconnect with some of your favorite characters as they celebrate a very special occasion. What this story lacks in suspense and danger will be made up with heartache, family, and a whole lot of love.
Jessa Aarons was born and raised in the frozen tundra of Wisconsin. She has had her nose buried in books for as long as she can remember. Her love of romance began when she “borrowed” her mom’s paperback Harlequin novels. After experiencing a life changing health issue, she had to leave the working world and dove back into books to help heal her soul. She would read anything that told a love story but still had grit and drama. Then she became a beta reader and personal assistant to another author. Jessa is the boss of her husband and their castle. He really is her prince. Thanks to his encouragement, Jessa started putting pen to paper and creating new imaginary worlds. She spends her free time reading, crafting, and cheering on her hometown football team.
This book brings a new side to one of this MC's original couples, but it didn't captivate me as much as the other books. Mountain and Blue have their issues and they try to solve them, but for someone their age who's been together for 21 years, they're struggling to understand how to communicate and that's their challenge right now. As was said in other books, the miscarriage and not being able to have kids is still on Blue's mind and that together with some of her insecurities who come to surfice more prominent make things more complicated and difficult to talk about. At the end this book shows that every relationship goes through different stages and love is the only thing that can make two people stick together through thick and thin.

Mountain and Blue have been married blissfully for 21 years until this last year with so much crazy going on around them they started having issues of their own. Everyone gets snowed in at the clubhouse and things are really pushed to the max for the once happy couple. Instead of opening up to each other as to what was going on with them Blue thinks it’s just best, she leaves instead of fighting with Mountain all the time.
Now Mountain wants her back even though the club is in preparations for four upcoming weddings on Christmas Eve at the clubhouse. Their reunion is heartfelt. I really loved how this author took on how marriages take work.
Top of the Mountain by Jessa Aarons is an outstanding heartfelt romance story about love, loyalty and brotherhood which is more about the dynamics of each couple than MC drama. Story picks up with the upcoming weddings of Duchess, Sunshine, Angel and Star.... Whiskey, Hammer, Steel, Ring, Buzz and Mountain and Blue's struggles within their marriage that they are keeping from their loved ones. Not willing to open up and confront the problems each are facing may end up damaging their marriage.
After being together 21 years, Mountain how no idea why the woman he loves above all others is pushing him away, he can see she is in pain but does not know how to approach her, so he gives her the space she asks of him. When a snow storm has everyone sheltering at the clubhouse, emotions are running high between Mountain and Blue as they are fighting more and more. In order not to deal with asking Blue why she is so unhappy, he shuts down and keeps himself busy helping his son Whiskey and the others with the upcoming weddings. Mountain is feeling that maybe after all these years he is no longer worthy of Blue, maybe he failed her and didn't give her what she needed but instead of telling Blue how he feels, he stays quite gives her the space she asks for and keeps his feelings to himself. Each day he can see the sadness in her eyes each time she holds one of her grandbabies but doesn't know how to help her. The stress in the past year dealing with Mountain's injury and changes within the club, babies are being born and the clubhouse is busting at the seems has put a strain on both of them. Blue is dealing with so much, she loves her family, and her grandbabies but she is still dealing with her own insecurities from the past, now with the weddings slated for Christmas Eve she is feeling out of sorts as she never had a wedding of her own to give her input. Blue is at war with herself, instead of talking to Mountain, she thinks that the best thing for is to leave, can she leave her family and the man she has ever loved as she is tired of fighting with Mountain. Now Blue puts her plan into action and leaves an unsuspecting Mountain.
When Mountain can't find her is outraged, when he finally reaches her, he informs her he is coming to take her back home. The showdown between these two was heartfelt and very emotional as the sexual chemistry between them is off the charts hot as they lock themselves in their room until they both open up about the past hurts and blames that have placed on each other. Now Mountain comes up with a plan to prove to Blue how much she means to him and that she is his life and without her he will be nothing, so he asks his son Whiskey and the other grooms if he can take part in their weddings as he wants to renew his vows with Blue and give her the wedding she never had. When Blue learns what is happening her heart is overflowed with emotion and love as she sees how much effort and love Mountain put forth to make this day special for her. This story will put a smile on your face and have you believing in the power of love as each couple takes their vows starting with Mountain and Blue. Loved how Whiskey, Hammer, Steel, Ring and Buzz's show their undying love and devotion they have for each one of these amazing, strong women who have captured their hearts as they celebrate a very special Christmas Eve with the love of family and friends. Thank you Jessa Aarons for given your readers one hell of an emotional love story! This story is a must read, you will not be disappointed!!
Best one of the series but I loved them all! What can I say that won’t spoil too much of this story? Well I got to say this, we got wedding planning happening with 4 brides and 5 grooms, and these couples do have their few chapters here and there. I would strong suggest reading A Mountain to Climb before this not necessarily before Whiskey’s story but before this that way you can read when Blue aka Lana shows up and her and Mountains interactions were like (Whiskey was in there a few times). I just read mountain to climb before I started this and it brought it all together and remembering the previous 1-4 stories (Haze, Smoke and Raven had 1 chapter for them selves but wasn’t one of the couples that got married since their relationship is too new). But for me knowing Blue like I did from both stories from her pov, she had a best but tough life with Mountain and their club and the sadness throughout this story was soo emotional and touching, I would have cracked with the stress she was having and the pain of the pass and her present and how Mountain wasn’t fully there for her, got me crying. Even now just thinking back on this story, my eyes are spilling. Mountain and Blue’s been married for 21 years, she’s 50 as he’s 61 but when they come together their fire is still stronger them when she was 29 and he 39 going on 40.
Well it seems Mountain and blue need to start learning to communicate with each other abit more to get over the hurdles that has been their life for the last 20yrs and now that some of the ol'ladies are getting ready for their upcoming wedding it seems to be dredging up some forgotten and washed up issues that Blue never knew she had with Mountain. As pig headed as the men can be nothing will come between making sure their women get the love and protection they need.
Holy damn talk about wedding vows The tears just from the love in those words. Blue and Mountain sure have had a good yet sometimes bumpy road it's such a shame that they never got to have their kid.
Did I mention how much I loved reading these couples getting married and saying their vows each one just gets better and each one brings me to tears while reading. I'm going to end up with red puffy eyes after reading all 5. This book couldn't be further from the dramas of and MC but damn did I enjoy reading and catching up on each one of these guys love story. I hope down the line we get to read more on Buzz and Star as it seems we only get a quick glimpse into their relationship and wedding.
The Rebel Vipers is a great series, which opened with the prequel introducing Mountain and Blue. They have been constant and present in other books in the series and now this is a book dedicated to them. In addition, the book brings together other couples in the series as they collectively have decided to all marry on Christmas Eve, in the Club house. Whilst happy people and moments are going on all around Mountain and Blue, their relationship is floundering and nothing they seem to do can stop it. Blue is desolate but unable to say why, what or how she feels or is wrong. Mountain can't fathom out what to do and they are drifting apart rapidly. Things are going from bad to worse as neither is ready to talk it out properly. The wake up call to each of them is when Blue has planned to leave the club and be on her own. Time to face their demons and be honest, even if this is difficult to bear. Mountain's plan to compensate for their marriage 20 years ago is kind, deliberately intended to help repair and rebuild their relationship.

On Top of the Mountain is the fifth book in the Rebel Vipers MC series. The story is Mountain's (Jethro) and Blue's (Lana) story. The book has a surprising storyline as we see Mountain in Blue in a light that we have not seen in the previous books. They are the bedrock couple in the MC and always the go-to people for getting wisdom, real talk, and advice. The drama they find themselves entrenched in does come as a bit of a shock. Being who they are and carrying the type of love that they do for one another, they fight for their relationship. How they do that is what makes the book so good. There are quite a few twists in this book and many steamy-hot moments, and definitely some humor, drama, a little happy suspense, and lots of romance. You will love every page!
The next book in the series finally has Buzz and Meredith center stage! I can hardly wait for that one, as the epilogue in On Top of the Mountain left us with a bit of a cliffhanger that will pick up in the next book.

The Best Yet in an Already AMAZING MC Series “Top of the Mountain,” the latest in Jessa Aarons’s Rebel Vipers MC romance series, is amazing in so many friggin’ ways that I don’t know where to begin. I LOVE this series so much, and this book brings the club full circle as Mountain and Blue struggle to redefine their relationship after more than 20 years together in the midst of Christmastime weddings for Whiskey and Duchess, Sunshine and her men, Hammer and Angel, and Buzz and Star. There is love and laughter, heartache, tears, and super-steamy sexy bits that create such a great story. The men are still as bada$$ as always, and their women still live and love fiercely, but there are too many special moments tucked lovingly into the pages to ever choose a favorite. You can bet that I read through the majority of this book with misty eyes and my hand to my heart. So, so special, Jessa Aarons - just like you. All. The. Stars.
Mountain (AKA Jethro) met and married the sister of the woman who had his son Connor (AKA Whiskey) twenty years before, when he was President of the Rebel Vipers Tellison Chapter. Blue (AKA Lana) came looking for her sister Roxy, who had died eight years before, when Connor was two...so he and Blue raised Connor together, but through a twist of fate, now she and Mountain are having issues, several which have built up over the years, but the root cause seems to be her thinking she was inadequate for not being able to have a child...and the fact that they went to courthouse, got married with nobody at the club being invited and with several wedding coming up, she felt unprepared to give any opinions as she never walked down aisle, had flowers, cake or reception...so are Mountain and Blue going to work out their issues or will this be the end of their story??? We've come to the fifth book in the awesome Rebel Vipers MC series. And I also enjoyed this story. I thought this was a very emotional story and my heart went out to Blue and Mountain, but sometimes I also felt like I wanted to yell at him wake up and look what you're almost throwing away after 21 years of marriage.
It was also nice that this story differed from the others because in this story the couple has been married for years, and it also matched what you can experience or go through in daily life. The frustration's, the sadness, sense of betrayal very emotional story this. This book is highly recommended and well worth reading to find out whether Blue and Mountain can save their marriage or not.

This is the fifth book in this incredible series and is Mountain and Blue’s journey. These two have been married for 21 years, but recently with all the crazy and stress going on within the MC, they seem to be drifting apart. When all the members are trapped together in the club due to a snowstorm, with Mountain and Blue communicated instead of pushing each other away? Is it too late for Mountain to get Blue back? This is a well written story which is an emotional roller coaster, with undeniable chemistry, intrigue, twists, suspense, danger, insecurities, humor, witty banter, tension, and love, which leads to an entertaining and heartfelt addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I have always loved Mountain and Blur and am so glad we got to see more from them. This was so different from the other books in this series. We not only see things from Blue and Mountain’s pov, but others also. Blue and a Mountain have been happily married for 21 years, but recently things have been changing and neither knows what it is. This book will bring out lots of feels. Jessa had me feeling everything the characters were feeling. I was laughing, crying, silently yelling, wanting to shake the heck out of the two. This was a beautiful story that you need to read. I can’t wait to read Brewer’s story. This series is great and each character is perfectly matched, whether it is two people or three.
Happiness is in the air for everyone except for Mountain and Blue. They are at crisis mode in their marriage, where both of them wonder if they are going to make to see the other side.
I was confused on what caused the problems between Blue and Mountain. While reading the story one can see what is making the situation worse, but it is unclear what the origin is. They reminisce about their lost child, their rushed marriage and Blue is sad while everyone around her is planning their happy day.
She was never clear on what brought her sadness on. Did she feel that Mountain no longer was as attentive? Not sure if I missed something while reading the story.

I loved that this story just didn't focus on Mountain and Blue's love life but also had pov from all the members of the mc and their families with an upcoming wedding. Mountain and Blue's story had it all with the feels because even though they were distancing themselves from each other they refused to give up on their marriage since they are the perfect puzzle piece that just fits well together. A wonderful story to get into as it give me good laughs and definitely some good cries that dove deep into the characters and their emotions on their relationships.

What a great couple. We‘ve met Mountain and Blue in previous books and just got snippets now and then about their stories. But oh man now that we got the whole thing unbelievable. It’s so realistic the feelings Blue is going through that every woman in that situation understand her and just want to tell her. I am right here for you. Mountain struggles after his accident to accept and understand that her feelings haven’t changed because of that but stubborn as he is can’t believe that. It’s a great story about a couple in a matured age and still a lot of good and bad thoughts going on. A must read for all who like. A good story and the Rebel Vipers MC
This is the 5th book I've read written by Jessa Aarons; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is the 5th book in the Rebel Vipers MC Series; it is a stand-alone book but does have characters from other books. The story is about Blue & Mountain; they’ve been married for a long time but recently been having a lot of problems; it’s to the point she’s thinking about leaving. After a snowstorm forces everyone to stay in the clubhouse for days several of the other couples announce they are getting married on Christmas Eve. He decides that he’s needs to do whatever it takes to save his marriage.

This is the 5th book in the Rebel Vipers MC series featuring Mountain and Blue's fast-paced emotional roller-coaster ride. This book shows you it doesn't matter how long that you're with your significant other love take work and that even when you love each other it's not always enough it doesn't prevent you from struggling like everyone else. Being in a relationship is hard work because you have your individual issues and your couple issues. I loved that we got to visit with the others throughout this book. I would definitely recommend reading this book.

This series is fantastic! I can not wait to see what Ms. Aarons does with these guys! This is Book 5 in the "Rebel Vipers MC" series. and this book will take you on one heck of an emotional rollercoaster ride. Blue and Mountain have been married for ~ 21 years. Things are off. Why now? Is it stress? fear? something from the past? Can they figure it out before it destroys them and their club? Is it possible to have a HEA? What will it take? For the answers, you will have to read the book! No spoilers here! You will not be disappointed! Highly recommend this series and this book! I am ready for the next book already!!!
Mountain has loved Lana since the first day he met her.Her fiery approach at life's challenges is one thing he loves about her.But after being married twenty one years she's acting different an he's afraid of losing her he starts putting up walls to protect himself because in his life everyone left him. There are so many twists an turns to this story you will be riveted until the very last page. Will Mountain an Lana finally find away back to what they had.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes an you can feel their emotions an their pain.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.
Blue and Mountain have had many years together, but they need to spice things up. Mountain loves her, but he's always busy with the club even if he's not president anymore and Blue is feeling neglected. It doesn't help when she thinks back on the baby she lost. So when she does something that turns Mountains world upside down, he knows he has to do something. Love the last few chapters with all the couples. HEA. This book is everything that I love about MCs: Family, Loyalty, and The Brotherhood. It has all three in spades. I am dying to word vomit about how special it was. I am not sure if this will be one that I reread, but there are certain parts that I have gone back to enjoy again.
I think the blurb really does a good job of describing what you're in for, but I want to break it down into two parts. The first part focuses on Blue and Mountain after twenty years together. I know that they were first introduced in A Mountain to Climb (Prologue), but I haven't read it. However, I don't feel like you'll be lost if you haven't either. There's enough of a mix between past and present, that not only can you see what brought them together but what's also tearing them apart. I think what I really enjoyed about their portion of the story is how realistic it is. It's easy to forget over time what originally attracted you to someone in the beginning. They've hit a rough patch, and they can't see their way out of it.
Don't get me wrong! I liked that Blue and Mountain were able to work through their issues and come out stronger on the other side. However, I absolutely loved the snippets of all the previous couples. It's not an update of sorts, as they never faded into the background. It's more of an update on where they are at this particular moment. Some are funny. Some are sad, and others just leave you wanting more. I might have even teared up in a restaurant at certain parts. If you don't read anything from this review, just heed this warning. Make sure you have tissue handy.
I love this author! She has a way of pulling her readers in and making them feel like they're a part of the story. Mountain and Blue's journey started hot and fast! They've been together for many years and they love each other deeper now than before. Problems arise and throws Mountain completely off kilter and he has no idea what to do. Just like in any relationship, it takes both people to make things work and that's exactly what these two do. They work for their happily ever after. What a great story!
WoW! Very different from the other books in the series. The dramatic effect wasn't action or search and rescue, it was pure emotion. Everyone was pretty much front and center with extra attention on Mountain and Blue. I can't say much more without spoilers of some kind, so I'll just finish with, if you've come this far in the Rebel Vipers Series, you have to continue with Top of the Mountain! You won't be disappointed.

Mountain and Blue are one of those established couples, that start to take marriage for granted. My heart broke for Blue, helping the girls plan their weddings and all the new babies, making her miss the baby she didn't get to.have and lament the quicky at the court marriage as good as if felt to have a man that is so desperate to marry her, she has that I just go along with it. As for mountain , he has no clue why Blue is distant but it's hard to miss her mood. The thing he does know is she is fhw noat important person in his life and hs will do what ever he has to, to keep her home by his side and smiling.
This centers around Mountain and Blue who have been married for twenty one years and now she is having doubts about their relationship because the one thing he always wanted is something she could have - a baby. He knows something is wrong but she will not talk to him about it and he thinks she is not happy with him but then he puts his foot down and demands to find out what is bothering her. We also get to catch up with some of the younger guys and girls in this book which is fun as they are planning four weddings on the same day.
This is a fast paced story with lots of danger, humor, conflicts, struggles, threats, roller coaster emotions, happiness, strength, passion and love. A great story of how even after 21 years Blue and Mountain are working through their own struggles as the MC gets ready to celebrate some weddings. Will Blue and Mountain be able to fix what is upsetting their relationship? Will Mountain lose the most important person in his life? Can't wait for Master Brewer to come out. Great series.

When Blue came to Rebel Vipers Mc 21 yrs ago it was to find her sister. But once she met Mountain there was no turning back he was determined to mark Blue his ride or die. Now 21 years later, though some rough time Mountain and Blue are struggling. The author made this book to this reader as a page turner because I wanted to know why.Was she sick? Dying? But like all marriages there are periods of doubt. This book is about them but also about the five weddings taking place. Enjoy this great read
With all the happening going on in the club with the other ol ladies Blue finds herself feeling blue and doesn't know how to stop it. One rash decision turns Moutain's world upside down and he's he determined to fix it and the journey to doing that took not only them, but me on an emotional ride. I loved catching up with the men and their ok ladies. Congratulations Jessa on another amazing journey.
You must read the series in order to keep up with the contuation of several stories. This book gives you the full background story of Blue and Mountain as well as their current situation. Communication is the key to a great relationship. Also, introduces you to characters for the next full length book in the series. I love this author and have read all her books.
