I've been a fan of some of Esposito's other works, but this one was not as helpful. I honestly did not expect much, as the book was written two years ago, and the web world moves at an incredible clip. I was looking for some principles and foundational aspects of web design in an enterprise context. I got a bit of that, but pretty soon Esposito started to become very repetitive. Not sure if he was trying to pad out content or what, but it was annoying / comical at times.

The book will go on my shelf. It does go in depth on developing for jQuery Mobile, iOS, Android, and Windows Phone. I didn't read those sections, as they're not relevant to me right now, but they could be a good reference at some point in the future.
