Not every story is a winner, but none of them should be skipped, and the author bios are well done enough to lead one toward other reading adventures (James Farrell!).

Great boxing short stories. The editor of the compilation also has edited Best Football, Baseball & Golf stories. My interest in reading this book was to get a feel for sports writing.

I'm working on a novel about a family of fighters based in NYC.
