You may have seen her on Beyond with James Van Praagh, The Leeza Show, The View and Entertainment Tonight. Before the Presidential Elections in October, 2008, Glynis McCants was on The View and said that Barack Obama and Joe Biden would win. She has truly mastered the Science of Numerology, and her goal is to get everyone to do the same.
I consider Glynis' philosophy amazing. She has managed to transform an ancient soul science into a modern racket. I especially adore her quotes at the back of the book by Gibran.
I spent 4 hours reading this from cover to cover. I have realised why some people are drawn to me like magnets and why some people cannot be rid of - and as for the people I dislike, it has to be due to some toxicity of our numbers, but then what brought us together in the first place is the blatant similarity. Such, then, I have to look within.
I adore Glynis' writing style. And I will have to pick it up gain and actually disfigure the book a bit more ;)
Great overview of numbers for every relationship you have. Adds way more detail than her book Glynis Has Your Number. Also you can order a Soulmate Connection Study Sheet on her website for $19. Might be worth buying especially if you question the accuracy of your math like I did.
Made me realize all the challenging life path relationships I have and look forward to more compatibile and natural match relationships in my future.
It's a fun personality test based off of the numbers in your name and birthday. I've always been into such things. You find out yours and your significant other's numbers. Then you see how compatible you both are or aren't; what your challenges are; what your strengths are; an insight into what the other is thinking or feeling or why they are acting as they do. Soul # Personality # Power Nmae # Birth Day # Life Path # Attitude # Destiny # Maturity # And what that all means :)
A friend recommended watching Glynis McCants on Coast to Coast AM. She has a positive and engaging personality. I decided to purchase and read both her books. They were very informative, easy to read and understand. If interested in the subject of numerology and how to use it her books are great places to start. Each of the books are stand alone so if you just want to get Love by the Numbers you will still be able to understand how to use numerology for your "love" analysis. Enjoyed the read.
Love this introduction into understanding numerology and how it works in relationships! Cannot wait to read more to gain an even better understanding of it all!
I saw this numerologist on Youtube and wondered what kind of system maps out who you are based on numbers? So I picked up this book just for fun. I skimmed through the parts that didn't interest me (pick your wedding date, pick your address, and I think one more chapter). What I found was that it was somewhat confusing. I had conflicting numbers in my own number blueprint, and there wasn't clear instructions on what that meant.
Though I found the subject interesting, I don't think I can believe in the accuracy of such a system. For one it is based on a base ten counting system. There are so many counting systems (binary, hexadecimal, etc...). I think the Mayans used base 8. And the calendar used is the Gregorian calendar where 0 marks Jesus Christ.
Let's move on to names... Some people migrated to an English speaking country with a name written in a different alphabet, and they translated it to english the best they could. So the number of vowels and consonants in your name add up to make up part of your blueprint.
Am I to believe that our western society system of counting and literacy just miraculously matched up to the pythagorean number pattern?
Furthermore, the author lists different people's lists of what they look for and abhor in a partner. These people were different examples of life path numbers one through nine. The majority of them stated that they can't tolerate liars, cheaters, dishonesty, addicts (alcohol/drugs), narcissists, selfish people, people who don't know when to stop (even when you ask them to stop), people seeking validation b/c they have low self-esteem, jealousy, complains a lot but doesn't do anything to improve situation, lazy, unmotivated, etc...
The author's side note every couple of listing was: "See this person is a classic number 4," is one example.
Let me make a side note now too. I've just listed humanity's worst traits. Nobody would like them, unless they've got a few loose screws in the head.
All in all, it was entertaining up to a point. My interest waned halfway through. I'd recommend it for: people who truly believe in this, and people who are curious about the subject and what it is.
My fiancee and I found this book to be very accurate and I would highly recommend it. Glynis's book allowed us to further explore facets of our personalities and to express our needs. Anything that can help you understand yourself and your partner is important! Why not stack the relationship deck in your favor? Glynis's book will definitely help you do that.
Note: Glynis does not say to do this but, my fiancee and I also calculated the numbers for his nick name and my other last name. Thus, we had two numbers for some categories. This allowed us to have extremely accurate numbers that reflect the different facets of our personalities. I think it is very interesting that by changing your name, you also change your vibrations. This speaks to the power of naming. Also, I am really glad I found this book now and not at the beginning of our relationship. My fiancee and I happen to be a Challenge in the 5th number, the most important for relationships. However, my fiancee and I have a beautiful relationship because we believe in the importance of respect for each other, communication and working on our relationship. Glynis does not say anything about a relationship not working out because of a challenge or challenges but, I might have personally used the challenge as an excuse or sign not to give this relationship a chance. That would have been a big mistake.
Get your pad of paper and pen ready when you read this book, as you will be itching to do all the simple calculations to find the answers. I was surprised to see how accurate the calculations were! They actually fit in very well with my life! It really makes you think!
A great book to find out if you are truly compatible with your partner/spouse. I am thinking about giving this book as a gift to my friends!
I don't know why I'm such a sucker for these stupid horoscope, numerology, personality books, but I am. This one was a bit different in that it showed you how to calculate all your different numerology numbers which was cool, but the rest of the book stunk. Unsurprisingly, the writing was awful as well and sort of confusing. I skimmed a lot of it.
This was a great book, my boyfriend and I went through it together. It's great because it has helped me to understand myself better and him as well. It's nice to be aware of how you both respond to love and each other.
This is the a great book for anyone looking for real love. Numbers really work and I find this author to be right on with everything she says. I learned so much from this book.
