A friend recommended this to me knowing that the only book in this genre that I'll read is the sort that plants a foot in your @$$ and eschews the touchy-feely sort of namby-pamby that is useless for motivation (I feel the same way about parenting books). The structure was clever, as it drew from and expanded on Randy Pausch's general idea. I liked the way it started: eat well and don't look like a slob. It's a jumping-off point oft ignored by self-help gurus. You have to start there if you're going to give a rip about yourself.
