This book left me speechless. I’ve wanted to read something like this since I quit that Anita Blake series so long ago. This book has that total urban fantasy feel but please don’t think this is a copy off of that series because it’s not, this story is pure romance and you know that was right up my alley LOL.

Honoria works magic by writing a story that mixes romance and urban fantasy together. I just couldn't quit reading even when my daughter was giving me that evil eye wanting food or something, I still have yet to know what she wanted LOL.. Anyhow, You get action, adventure and some serious hot sex that includes and hot ménage M/F/M between the hero, heroine and a hot werewolf.

This story is written Ragan’s POV. She is very strong willed and won’t let anyone in her heart since her ex-husband so she puts up a very good fight before accepting love from Zerke. The only downside is she really makes Zerke wait and some might find it on their last nerve. I rather liked it because I really got to feel her emotions.

Zerke is one hot and demanding vampire. He takes what he wants and he wants Ragan and will stop at nothing to have her.

I loved the powers that are given to the vampires and how they lived their lives. They are very raw and hard core then most vampires we read. These vamps pulls out all the stops even glamour.

I highly recommend this to anyone who likes erotic paranormal romance with lots of action.

I did a lot of thinking after reading this book. I really wanted love this book because it holds so much potential to me. Nyx to me made the perfect hero and Pagan a good heroin but what has me on the borderline is the story itself. It literally was everywhere I just couldn't keep up with it. Don't get me wrong there are so many good points about this book and hot steamy screens that it helps get through the book. This book has so many ups and down but the characters is what makes this book good. The plot was there, the characters were there but like I said it was everywhere.
The basic of the story is the heroin is a vampire hunter who has been hired to kill nyx who is ancient and powerful . They meet fight and nyx blood bonds with pagan and from there the story goes full frontal . There is so much going on that it was easy to get lost the only thing about this book is that it has so much potential to be a great book I was a little disappointed in it. Nyx makes a great vampire he is strong aggressive, hot and a pain in Pagans side .Pagan is strong, and stubborn. As the story progress we find out more about her and her brother Jason who is also a hunter past. What makes this a different type of vampire story is after Jason and Pagans parents death they are raised by the vampires who saved them from being killed along with their parents . Then there is a war going on in the Vampire society which leads to even more drama.

Like I said this book has the potential to be a great book and I’ll be reading the next book to see what happens because this is a story that invites yet falls short of being great.

Regan has killed vampires all her life because they killed her parents and almost killed her and her brother. Although they were saved by others vampires, seeing how easy it was for them to kill humans made them become vampire hunters.

Regan has been searching for her parent’s killers all her life and now somebody told her that Zarek knows who did it and hires her to kill him. However, he is powerful and he wants her. And he will never kill her.

I totally loved the story!!! Ms. Honoria Ravena succeeds in creating the perfect attraction and tension between the main characters, along with an interesting story and torrid sex scenes between the lovers.

Regan is strong but Zarek is stronger. She fights him and the attraction she feels for him while Zarek just wants to make her his. All the while they have to fight against vampires infected by the Scourge, some virus that makes the vampires crazy, while giving them extra strength. And the ending was totally unexpected… I will just reveal that the situation was saved by Regan, and I will let you discover the rest. 5 stars.

Pagan is a bounty hunter…for vampires. She is hired to kill or execute vampires for money. To say she is not well liked in the vampire community is an understatement. She and her brother are hired guns for whoever wants one of the bloodsuckers taken out. It is also personal, as it was a vampire that killed her parents when she was young. The less vampires walking around her, the better. Her next assignment is to kill Nyx. He is a very old vampire, which also means he is a very strong and fast one as well. Going off of a tip that he visits a well-known bar for vampires and were animals, Pagan walks in to track down Nyx. Speaking to the bartender, she is immediately drawn to the tall, dark man tending the bar. The flirting continues for several minutes before Pagan remembers she is there on business, not pleasure. And oh she has no doubts the pleasure this sex on a stick could show her in one night! When she finally asks the handsome bartender about Nyx she is surprised to learn, he is Nyx. Well, her evening just got more interesting!
I really enjoyed this story. I don’t usually read about paranormal stories but I really liked this. 4.5 stars

Pretty decent read. It kept my interest, but tended to be a little wordy in areas.
