The story continues in Part Four --When a series of freak storms sweep across the world, they leave behind something more than devastation. First come the swift-growing flowers, smelling like heaven and dying as quickly as they bloom. Next comes the infestation as the flowers breed and multiply inside their hosts. After that, chaos, mayhem and death. And after that…resurrection. This is part four of a serial horror story.**Don't forget to check out The Compendium! All ten parts in one volume.

Librarian Note: There is more than one author in the GoodReads database with this name.
After the intense cliffhanger from Part 3, where Abbie's young son Jordan suddenly resurrects, Part 4 leaves the reader hanging for a little while longer. Here we are introduced to a whole new set of characters, the young abused girl Kathy, who grows up to be the survivor Kelsey. Author Hart does an interesting job with shifting perspectives of the characters, and it's not until close to the end of this part that I realized that Kelsey was the new persona.
