I was very impressed after reading the book. the war period, people's attitude towards each other, various difficulties, and the toils of our hardworking people are brilliantly covered. I feel sorry for Kimsan the most in this book. Even though I know that he will not come back, I was waiting for him until the end of the book. In short, the book is "unique".
I advise you to read the book.

Honestly, I don't usually write reviews on books unless they're too good or too bad, also this is really important to me so I had to write one. I wish there was an English translation of this masterpiece (maybe there is, but I still couldn't found out the title of it)so that it would be available for more people because It's truly one of the best novels that's ever written about the world war 2, it's effects on society, exceptionally hard labour activities during the war and so much more. To this day, I cannot get this book out of my head (this is the third time I am reading this book and wow, still holds up, still so emotional and a real tearjerker even after soo many years ) I had to read this book for school and I'm sooo glad I did. This book is purely underrated and more people should read it and it's also a very important subject matter.

Asar onalarga va yaqinlarga bo'lgan mehr-muhabbat, farzandlik burchi, hayotiy kechinmalarni yoritib berish ustiga qurilgan, yana qaytadan o'qigan bo'larmidim? - Albatta, ha!

"Between Two Doors" by O‘tkir Hoshimov is an unforgettable journey into the heart of Uzbek life, family, and the inner world of the soul. I’ve read this book twice, and every time it captures me deeper, as if I’m living among the characters, feeling their joy, pain, and hope. Hoshimov’s writing is both poetic and powerful, painting vivid images of Soviet-era society while touching timeless themes like morality, compassion, and personal responsibility.

The emotional depth and philosophical reflections make this novel more than just a story — it's a life lesson. I couldn’t put it down. A must-read for anyone who loves meaningful literature that stays with you long after the last page.

Ancha oldin bu asarni o'qiganimda juda qattiq ta'sirlangandim. Lekin hozir o'ylab ko'rsam, o'qib ko'rsam unchalik qattiq ta'sir qilmaydi. Bu asarda badiiy tasvir juda kuchli yoritilgangandir, balki. Lekin sahifalarning tub-tubidan qandaydir "sovet ifori" ufurib turadi...
