Taladdin
Seit der Trennung ihrer Eltern und dem Verkauf ihres geliebten Ponys hat die vierzehnjährige Ceri nicht viel zu lachen. Das ändert sich, als sie die Ferien in Falcondale bei ihrer Schwester Leonie verbringt und dort den Fischerjungen Joel kennen lernt.
Doch merkwürdige Dinge geschehen in Falcondale. Was hat es mit dem Geisterpferd Taladdin auf sich, von dem ihr der alte Fischer erzählt? Von wem stammen die Hufsputen, die einfach im Meer verschwinden? Und auch Joel fängt an, sich seltsam zu benehmen.
Als dann bei einem schrecklichen Unwetter eine wertvolle junge Stute aus dem Stall ausbricht, in dem Ceris Schwester arbeitet, überschlagen sich die Ereignisse. Hat Taladdin etwas mit der Sache zu tun? Warum weichen ihr alle aus, wenn sie ihn erwähnt? Und was haben die Männer im alten Hafen zu suchen, der doch längst stillgelegt ist?
Ceris Neugier ist stärker als ihre Furcht vor der Flut, und sie beschließt, der Sache auf den Grund zu gehen …

So, this is the third and final book I found, and I enjoyed this one the least. For the majortity of the book I was thinking it deserved 4 stars, however the ending made me lower the rating. Probably nobody reading this review (if there's anybody reading it) is interested in this book, but I still put my reason under a spoiler tag.
Other than that, it was an enjoyable, fast read, obviously also for younger audiences, however, I did not like it as much as the other two. I would rather recommend those, this one just didn't get to me, except freaking me out. Also, I might be the only one, who freaks out by such things.
