Slattery

From back of rode into Beaver Hole with a shipment of twelve thousand dollars in cash. He was delivering it to Quinn, a cattleman, as payment for eight hundred head. As they were inspecting the herd, gunshots blasted them out of their saddles. The sheriff was wounded and the band of thieves made off with the money. Slattery was suspected of being in on the robbery. He rode off after the bushwackers to get back the money--and get back his reputation.
