I read the book "Mastering Skateboarding." It's not a book with main characters and plots and such, it's more of an instructional book on how to get started and how to get better in general at skateboarding. It's super helpful for anyone who looking to get started in the sport of skating or anyone who has already started and wants to improve their skills. I would recommend this book for the people I described in the last sentence.
What I liked about the book is it was completely honest about everything. It didn't say that it'll guarantee you to be a better skater in a matter of days or anything. It said that it'll take time and a lot of practice, which it does. It talked about all the different techniques for almost every trick there is and made certain things very clear and easy to understand. It also had a couple pictures here and there to help with a better understanding of the trick.
There's not much I can say about not liking the book. I guess it could have been a bit more clear on some things, but not much. And everything that wasn't entirely clear were all little things that didn't need much time spent on.
So over all like I said earlier, this is a great book for anybody looking to get started or already in the sport of skating. It has every type of trick; from the first trick for beginners to some of the more complex for those looking for a challenge.
